When I made my reservation I was supposed to pickup a truck in Norwalk. Several days before my pickup date I was notified that I would have to pickup in Plymouth. When I arrived to pickup the truck in Plymouth the location was closed. I contacted the number left on the location door and the man who answered told me he was in Cleveland and was not coming back to open up the location and give me the keys. He said he knew nothing about a truck getting picked up that day. And offered me no options. He made it very clear that I was on my own and that he couldn't be bothered with it. I called the number on my reservation email and was eventually connected to Brady Cooper (Area Field Manager). Brady went above and beyond to find another pickup location for me (even though it was further away in Galion). He even walked me through the steps to secure the vehicle when I reached the Galion location. And he followed-up with me after I dropped the truck off a few days later. Thanks to him I was able to complete the scheduled move as planned.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisNo one told us to check our text before driving away to record damage to the truck. We had no idea this was the way to document the condition of the truck. Also, the gas guage was not on half full. It was halfway between 1/4th and 1/2. We ended up spending $55 on gas!
Jean KTruck was clean inside the cab but had a horrible smell. Had to drive it with the windows down because it was absolutely gagging us. Don’t know what they cleaned it with, but I would strongly suggest not using it anymore. The location was great for me since it was right down the street from where I live. The problem is their parking lot head very deep potholes that went clear across their driveway and there was many of them. Definitely need to bring some gravel in and fill the potholes.

tom bDo not use mobile check in as they’re located in a dead zone and I had to travel 1 mile off site multiple times just to contact customer service, however, employees were great for in person interaction.
