The service was not customer oriented. You shouldn’t have to wait 24 hours to get a receipt emailed to you. There shouldn’t be just one person who is capable of checking the truck back in. That person wasn’t around the day of I returned the truck. What would’ve happened if the truck was damaged between the time I returned it and the time the truck was inspected?

The time to register and sign up for the truck took over a half hour because the connection was slow at the gas station.

I did not like that upon my return no one looked at the vehicle and no one could give me a receipt. After the fact the receipt looks OK so that is fine but it was not like a normal business transaction.

This was not the pick up location I chose. I had to accept this location or lose the reservation. This location being a gas station, the employee had to multitask with convience store sales and completing my Uhaul transaction. He Made multiple attempts to load my driver's license into the Uhaul system. My license should have been on file from my rental a month and half ago. The inside of the cab of the truck needed to be cleaned. The store manager made a brief attempt to wipe here and there and remove trash from floor, console and glove compartment. I drove it home and thoroughly cleaned it before my four day trip.

When I left site with the u-haul truck $144 was held in my account. When I finally returned the truck at about 2pm. My final bill was around $88. But as of 11pm the money that was held on my account had not been refunded.

My pickup location was changed & I was NOT notified & when I called customer service twice, I was transferred each time 4 times!!! Very rude customer service! Will never use uhaul again! I truly hope your calls are monitored for quality assurance! Check your calls into the Baltimore traffic center on 8/19 from 9:46-10:05! Another customer lost!

The person responsible for the Uhaul service was not available when I returned the truck. The lady who was at the counter was very unfriendly and told me to just park the car and leave, and that I should wait for the email receipt, that she cannot process the return. She said that I should receive the email less than an hour. It came a day later when I was seriously thinking about calling to complain. Unless there is no other Uhaul location available, I wouldn't necessarily go back to this place to use the service.

Although I had already reserved the truck at a different location, gave them my credit card and info, the night before got an email saying to pick it up at this location. It took me another 30 min for the lady to figure it out and I had to do everything all over again!

I got a call the day before the reservation that I couldn't use self check-in and therefore couldn't pick up the van at my reservation time. I agreed to move it 45 minutes later and was told I'll have to go to the person working at the station to check-in. I got there at the later time, said I was there to pick up a van, and was immediately told uhaul wasn't open yet and to come back at 8. Telling the person that uhaul called me to offer this time, and confirming the phone number, got the same response. It took three times to get her to go look it up. When she did, she said I had self check-in so I was just supposed to go out and do it myself. When O mentioned that I was told I couldn't do self check-in and that's why the reservation was moved, I was then told that I could do self check-in and thwn juat give her the key number. The self check-in process, advertised as about ten minutes when I made the reservation, was hanging on the authorization step alone for more than that when the person working inside said to cancel it and she would do it herself. It was an incredibly frustrating experience and the conflicting and confusing information made it worse. We had no problems with the van itself, but the pick-up experience was unpleasant.
