I used the U-Haul App to pick up my 9-foot van early morning before the office opened. Upon acquiring the key, I learned that the key did NOT match the vehicle. Since the office was closed at the time, I had to talk to 4 or 5 customer service reps on their 800 number in order to obtain clearance for me to use that key I had on another vehicle. It took 1 hour 15 minutes for this to get resolved. Not only did this screw up my day, it was frustrating to learn that there was no clear "Process" to correct the problem as none of the reps seemed to know what to do. Surely a mismatched key-vehicle is not the first time that's happened, nor the last, but U-Haul should have a very clear, expedited process, especially if they are going to push for people to use the App. But let's not forget, the whole problem started by someone place the wrong key in the lock box (or assigning the wrong vehicle to the right key in the App.). I lost critical time that threw off the rest of my day and made me very exhausted trying to recover from that precious time.

The facility is clean and well stocked with supplies needed for a smooth move. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, professional and friendly. I appreciate them making the moving of my furniture a pleasant experience.

I originally had a frustrating experience with a my first rental at this location, but Jay (the manager) called me back, was calming and apologetic. He perfectly executed a better, more favorable solution to my problem, and assured me that he would share ways that a problem like this could have been handled differently with his staff. When a difficult or unfortunate situation arises with a customer, management should be sympathetic and do their best to help the customer feel like there is some effort in an attempt to come to an agreeable solution. In the end, I was left to spend $87 on a truck that I could not use.. I have used Uhaul several times in the past under the phone number "2403502858" at another location and have never had any issues. I have filed a case with customer service, and am currently awaiting resolution/verdict.

Was given wrong information in my am visit. I asked if I needed a ball hitch or did it come with the rental. Was told it came with the rental of the trailer. When I got there I had to purchase the ball hitch.

Some better indication of after hours key return. The equipment return area is on the other side of the building. This caused 10 minutes of looking for where to put the key

I was very impressed with the facilities and the 1pm staff. When returning my equipment 5pm on 10 Sep, there were multiple miscommunications and I was treated rudely by the staff in particular a man named Kevin. His counterpart just stared at me while I unhooked my trailer as no one was helping me at the equipment return point. Signs are posted in the lane. At pickup, the staff came out and helped me. In the evening at the same area, Kevin came out and told me that even though the sign for returning equipment doesnâ€™t say so, my trailer needed to be unhooked around the corner of the building and someone would be there. No one was there. There were no signs, no implied anything. I unhooked my trailer. There was no inspection, nothing. Then I came to get a receipt or a confirmation and I was further treated poorly When I asked for a receipt-rudely and talking over me Kevin told me within 10 minutes Iâ€™d have an email receipt. If Kevin better used his communication or customer service skills he would have been able to tell me before I unhooked my trailer that I was in the wrong spot even though the signs said I was in the correct spot. He could have also told me why he counterpart just stood behind a glass door staring at me making it a very uncomfortable experience from the moment I came onto the lot.

When I arrived to pickup the reserved truck, 2 Sep 2019, at about 11:00 am, there was only one person working the counter. She was doing her best but had to do everything - complete the paperwork, show customers to where the equipment/vehicle was located, accept returns, etc. When I finally got to the counter, there were 4 or more customers frustrated waiting behind me. She was overwhelmed but was doing her best, all while remaining professional. She even mentioned that she should have already been off but no one had showed up to take her place.
