TOBIQUE VALLEY M.Although in well maintained, that trailer was really old and had no tie-down points on the side rails. Just tiny little slots you can't get a strap through. (Maybe there used to be some other fastener system) I ended up damaging some furniture because I had no way to keep it from moving inside the trailer.

Benjamin P.I went an picked up my U-Haul from Falls Service Centre on Friday, September 22, just before 4 PM. To start with, they didn't have the size that I reserved. I reserved a 15 feet and got a 20 feet. So therefore, I was charged charged for a 20 feet and not the 15 feet that I reserved. When I got to Edmundston (where I lived), I made a stop at my workplace to pick up something and when I went to start back the vehicle, it was not starting anymore. I called back Falls Service Centre and they told me they can't do anything for me and basically left me there without any service and told to call U-Haul directly. Obviously no check-up was made on the vehicle. I called U-Haul directly and they asked me to explain the problem. Someone came to see the vehicle and told me there is nothing they can't do. I talked with about 3-4 persons from U-Haul and the last person I talked to accused me of not have enough gas in the vehicle so that's why it was not started. Th vehicle was at 3/4 to empty. She also told me that she can't gave me a new one until Saturday Morning, which was a problem for me because my moving date was the next day, Saturday, September 30, in Montreal at 11:30 AM. She finally told me that someone will come give me another one. They came, put gas in the vehicle to see if it would start, but it didn't again, so that was not the problem like one of your associate told me. It is now 8 PM, the movers I had were no longer available and had to pack until 10 PM at night. If I reserved a U-Haul for a specific day, it's because I need it the day of and not the next day. Also, I expect that the vehicle I'm paying 786 $ for, will work correctly and smoothly. According to your politics all the vehicle are "routinely inspected and maintained to the highest standard". This is not what I experienced at all.
