MICAH MThey called me and gave me a hard time about being late to pick up the truck and then blamed uhaul. Then, they told me I better not leave even a little piece of paper in the cab or uhaul would make them charge me $35. The funny thing was, I found a lighter on the floor in the cab under the seat, so I'm not sure how much they are actually cleaning the trucks. Either way, they may have been justified in what they were saying but it was just a negative experience and I will probably think twice about using that location again. The uhaul app also sucks because I dropped my phone and I couldn't find where the four digit code was for getting the key. Thankfully, there was someone in the office, but still ..
Dave KThere was no communication about a code to open the fence at our scheduled pick up time, which was after hours. None. We scrambled to try and pick up the truck and was on hold for a long time with customer service for the gate code. Once we did get the gate open it closed several times while still trying to inspect and pick up the truck. We could find no way to open the gate back up from inside the fence. One of us was still outside and was able to open it from there but if not for that it would have been gone from a miserable experience to a nightmare one. A little communication goes a long way.
