This has nothing to do with this U hsul location. I rented online and wanted to pick up in Troy, IL. I recieved a confirmation that all was good. On Friday when I was driving 500 plus miles to pick it up, I recieved phone call telling me I had to pick up in a different town. This was the first inconvenience, we were frustrated but had no choice. On Saturday morning we went to pick up our trailer and the place was a liquor store, first flag, second flag the people running it could barely speak english. They let the people who rented before us keep the trailer until 4:00 p.m. We needed it by 9:00 a.m. 3rd inconvenience, we then called the main office and got a hold of a lady who found us a trailer in St louis, now we had to drive another 30 plus miles in the opposite direction to pick up our trailer this is now 11:00 a.m. By the time we got the trailer we were 3 hours behind, this meant we would not get home until 1:30 in the morning. We were given a $50 credit, but I will NEVER rent from you again if I can help it.

When I picked the trailer up everyone was very friendly. When I dropped it off they were friendly but not as friendly as when I picked it up.

Called Monday due to there being an issue with my husband picking up rental-spoke to rude customer service agent who transferred me to store The store manger on dunn rd saint louis mo she was very nice & adjusted date &explained issue,unfortunately she was not there Tuesday & rep once again would not allow husband to pick up truck-it wasnt until Wed that we were able to pick up van to complete our move.This was worse experience we've ever had with u hual very disappointed in service.

I returned the truck before 7am on the 18th because I was told that somebody had it reserved but was also told that the trailer could be returned later that day so I used it until 1 pm. I was charged for the 18th on both the truck and trailer and was also charged a $30 cleaning fee for a truck that was cleaned before I returned it. This is a ridiculous excuse for customer service seeing that I was told by a uhaul representative that as long as the equipment was returned before 7am that I wouldn't be charged for it but I ended up having to pay for a truck while somebody else was using it and the employee handling it was ignorant and refused to do anything to eliminate the charges for the time that it was in your companies possession with no excuse as to why I had to pay for a day that I did not have the truck or why a clean truck had a $30 cleaning charge. In the past year I have rented several times totaling a few thousand dollars and at this rate this will be the last time I utilize uhaul for anything. Basically I had my money stolen from me by an inept customer service representative that clearly couldn't care less about the customer and how they are treated. I will be taking my business elsewhere unless something is done to correct this completely unnecessary overcharge and unexcusable treatment by a uhaul representative and as for the Hazelwood location which used to be one of the better ones in my mind I will never patronize this location reguarless of the outcome.

I traveled 21 miles and I put $50.00 of gas in the vehicle,. That's outrageous. The truck shook the entire way. I obviously don't know what is "normal". But that was not a good experience.

The Pick Up location identified above is Incorrect! The correct location was 9521 - 51 Avenue Edmonton, Alberta Southside (854060) Contract info had errors which had to be corrected at the Drop Off Location. The inside of the Truck was Filthy! Dash has about a 1/8" layer of Dust. The Cuphlders were Dirty and Sticky with a Residue from Soda etc. Seats were Dirty, floor boards were dirty with some garbage - it wasn't swept out! Disapointing to say the least. Most of Moving Blankets were Damp and some were dirty - had a similar experience in April and May of 2017 with the same location. Not Impressed when the locations professionalism and not the location is not very Appealing to a Customer!

I scheduled an online truck a week in advance and decided on Friday night just to check to see how things were going and there was nothing listed for me so I scheduled again. Otherwise it would’ve been a disaster. I was even sent an email asking if I would like a couple of helpers for a few hours for $150! Don’t understand the fact that this happened. Talking to other guests when I was waiting they had the same problem! I would like a call. Otherwise the crew was hardworking.
