One alarming problem with truck and was reported. When I stopped for gas to refill tank , while depressing the brake the engine surged and I had the brake pedal depressed to the floor board to keep the truck from running away and possibly hitting other automobiles and or store front.

Had to wait for someone to show up. The audacity after calling me the day before to remind me time and place to turn in, then to not even be there. Also charged me for 38 extra miles. Really? Sad they would jeopardize losing a customer for less than $20 bucks.

We were told that the vehicle would use a lot of gas , on the distance we were going,and we filled it up ,It took 50.00 and it only used about 20.00 of the gas we put in..so that was money we lost on gas for nothing...??

1st initial drop off point refused to except equipment, 2nd was not open on Wednesday, 3rd did not have room, 4th graciously excepted the equipment. All on all returning equipment was a big hassle, unlike picking equipment up for use.

Our experience was terrible! It was the worst experience I ever had where with a place that was supposed to exhibit customer service! There was terrible communication! The guy James who worked the desk was one of the most disrespectful, rude, belligerent, degrading people I have ever had to communicate with! He accused us of “being shady†and “stealing the truck†numerous times, even after he saw our reservation was changed thru customer service! He yelled multiple times over the phone, he was literally screaming at the top of his lungs at a female about how we would be put in jail for stealing his equipment and people like us do shady things and steal. I don’t know what he meant by people like us but we are both African American, there was no other reason for him to assume otherwise! He broke policy and continued to charge our card we made the original payment with daily because he didn’t want anything “shady going on with usâ€! He told us multiple times we couldn’t speak to the general manager, he didn’t know his name, and he wouldn’t let us contact him! He insinuated numerous times that we wouldn’t bring the truck back because we damaged it and were stealing it, he sent multiple, multiple threat messages about the police and such, and lied about the communication we had with him! Literally THE WORST experience I have ever had in my life! I will never use u-haul again! I honestly hope that guy never has the opportunity to speak to another female, that way again! I’m honestly hoping this wasn’t a race thing but I’m almost 100% sure it was! I will reiterate, I will NEVER use uhaul again!!!!!!!!!

James was excellent for helping us with the two dolly and Phillip did great putting the order together. Having a newer truck (in service 04/2019) was really nice. Would definitely recommend this location.

information I entered on line was not available for associate; total waste of my time to enter all of my personal information when associate had to enter it again anyway. Site said my pick-up time would be cut in half if I pre-entered my information. Was not true. Second time this has happened. Needs to be fixed.
