service was helpful and complete. the truck, although clean, had a leak in the mid roof of the storage compartment. The leak exposed itself in the middle of a rainy moving day.
Great experience, both the morning staff when I picked up and afternoon staff when I dropped off were friendly, professional and helpful.

When I rented trailer in Knoxville I was told I could drop off at any location then Peachtree City location charged me $36 for dropping off at wrong location. Got me once won't happen again I will be going elsewhere.
Well you know it's the holiday season and you understand about the pandemic and people are still hurting in our area and Tennessee the numbers are getting higher and higher for this pandemic virus and people are dying left and right and the manager at this U-Haul dealt with me first few years now several years he understood the position I was in last year regarding my storage unit and trying to get my belongings out of there because of the apartment that I rented right across the street from U-Haul I was short like 54 cents or something like that and manager literally would not rent me a truck over 54 cents when I'm a paying customer and been a customer of his for a while now and because of his reasoning and what he was trying to do to me I ended up losing my storage unit and now I have an apartment and have no furniture no nothing not even any clothes winter clothes or nothing just over 54 cents when he could have helped me that day but he didn't and then I had to borrow a U-Haul again there's never no trucks in stock or there you're stuck getting a bigger one and paying more money and paying more mileage than anybody else in our area and I get a quote of $71 now granted I'm social security income disabled having no furniture at all trying to set up an apartment in these holidays and getting close to Christmas and do you believe he had the audacity to charge me $177 to pick up a couch and oversized chair in an ottoman that I mean that's ridiculous that's highway robbery and there's no and he has to go right to the t and he doesn't get anybody a break he never will he never does he's the most stingiest man greedy man and all he knows how to say as well I'm sorry you're sorry and then you have the nerve to look at me again and overcharge I don't care how many miles it is to from going to South Knox to friendsville and back you people have no compassion nothing you give U-Haul such a bad name I don't even like them anymore not after that I mean come on wiping me out $177 a hundred it was $100 exactly he quoted me $71 and it's that was the $176 no $106 more what do you think about this I want my money back I am not satisfied at all the truck was in poor shape all over the road there was no alignment to it why should I pay a hundred and $7 or $8 extra that's over mileage you better fix it and here's my phone number 865-334-7416 I want to hear from somebody from the main office this pisses me off to no end
Everything was exceptional on both ends! Cannot beat U-haul.
Worst customer service I've experienced in a while. Said that was not our drop off stop when it was. This was verified by Alcoa Hwy store. Instead of offering to assist and find out what was going on, the person there - whose name is Tony - told us if we left it, he would charge us double. No offer to help at all. He didn't want to deal with my husband and me at all. We were late returning truck, but the Alcoa GM was very understanding. I would highly recommend speaking with Chapman Hwy store and teaching this Tony gentleman how to deal with customers. Totally unprofessional
Easy process, friendly staff.
I rented a truck last Saturday 10-31-20 my route was short so no gas was needed to put back in the truck. I rented one today same EXACT route & when I returned it the guy said I needed to replace the gas or be charged $7. I looked at that gas hand & it was at the same place when I got! I hope those $7 help him! NOT HAPPY AT ALL!!!

I originally ordered a truck from the gap creek market 2138 Kimberlin Heights Rd kimberlin Heights, TN 37920. When I got there, the individuals had ZERO idea on how to get into the truck. So after waiting for over an HOUR They told me they didn't know how to use the mobile app and that they couldn't help me they suggested that I go somewhere else. So I went to the Chapman Highway location. Everyone was great and the rental went very smooth.
Work on answering phone calls more promptly. For those of us who don't want our credit card info floating around the web, phone calls seem safer...but certainly not quicker. Other than that, the service was great; and I was given two extra hours without requesting it...thank you.
How do you guys only have one guy in there on a Saturday morning?? People were renting all kinds of gear for the weekend and he was scrambling everywhere. It took 3 times longer to get in and out of there as he hooked up everyone's tow. I checked in on line and it still took 45 minutes to get checked out of there with the trailer.
When we rented the equipment the associate who was verbally interested in the fact that he was closing in less than 30 min said to download the app and just click on return when we brought the truck back. "it's easy" he said. So I did just that. We returned the truck and dropped the key in the box before 10pm. I then opened the app to return the vehicle and found that I needed to upload photos of the odometer and inside of the truck. The could have easily been mention during the app discussion. Oh by the way you will need to take these photos and then drop the key in the box. Not that time consuming. When I was unable to complete the return I begin calling your toll free number. After being on hold for 15+ minutes I chose the chat option. Kathryn was most kind and understanding, she noted that we should not be charged the additional late fee. Today I receive a call from I'm assuming the manager at this location wanting to know why we felt we shouldn't be charged. He continually kept making a point that I should have know that the odometer reading had to be entered. I said no I wasn't aware, had someone told me that I would be happy to do so. He said that they didn't have time to walk people through step 1, step 2 and so on. He said he had refunded the late fee and I thanked him. However he went back in to his spiel about why I didnt understand that the odometer reading had to be entered. His next line was never mind I gave you the refund this is done. I said so you have nothing else to say and he ended the call. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!! I have rented from uhaul on several occasion but rest assured it will never be from this location again. This was a last minute, emergency move that had to be made, we had no choice but to rent something. His lack or true concern, respect and willingness to understand that the consumer is trying to explain that just a few short instructions would have made this entire experience easier and more enjoyable. He needs to consider a different occupation where he doesn't have to deal with the public.
