The initial reservation was made online, when we went to the location to pick up the truck they weren’t open. We called the number and they quickly called back and advised that due to the holiday they were not informed of the reservation. The initial location did everything they could to help us and got a reservation for our large truck from another location in the area. That location gave us a truck the we needed which we instantly knew was missing something (muffler area) but we needed the truck. When we returned the truck to where we were going we were advised that the catalytic converter was missing. We were given a truck with a missing catalytic converter and were initially threatened with being charged with the repairs. The overall interaction with the people who were working with U-Haul were good, but it’s insane that we were given a truck that was not in working order.
