I made some suggestions for the truck and they at least listened and assured me I could bring it back if I didn't feel safe. Also the gas was not where the original contract stated and the kind lady who rented me the truck made the change on the spot and sent a new contract, I really really appreciate that. The gesture alone will make me a repeat customer for sure!!

I wouldn’t recommend U-Haul, at all, not just this location. Other companies just have better rates and service. One improvement you can make: The mobile check in and drop off did not allow me to see the beginning mileage once I was finished with the check in. It was difficult for me to calculate the mileage and I ended up with an overage. The email confirmation or the app should allow customers to reference the beginning mileage and fuel gauge.

The truck I rented was very strong and stable. I would say the load was about 3/4 capacity for a 21'box van. I also had to transport my Pathfinder behind. Very easy to drive. Gas millage was terrible. However, I understand the consumption of these trucks with a load. Thanks U-Haul, I will be back One more thing, on line process has improved from past experiences

the two ladies sat there and said i did phone so i needed to follow the link. i had no less than 10 emails from uhaul. i found it and followed the process, just to get a call telling me my wife didnt answer...ugh. mobile approach not helpful and staff needs taining. pianfil pick up process. vehicle was awesome process horrible

Truck had plow out driver tire driving home!!!My first ever to have Uhail problem in my whole record of use rental with u haul!!! Still waiting for reimbursement to my bank, and had to wait for another truck till Monday !!!

Even though I had input all of my information online when I made a reservation it still took 20 minutes to complete the paperwork for the rental. They were unable to provide a drop off location at time of rental.

When I recieved the vehicle, it was running, I drove to my house and loaded boxes, furniture, etc. I tried to start the truck, but the battery was dead. I used my wife's car to jump start the U-haul truck. When I reached the new location, I turned off the truck and unloaded. The truck wouldn't start again, so I jump started the u-haul truck again. I left the truck running while we loaded the truck for 1-2hrs, then drove to new location. As soon as I turned off the truck, I tried to start it, the battery was dead again. I called roadside assistance and told them about the ongoing issue with our rental truck. The roadside assistance company sent a car to jump start the truck again and said that was all they were required to do. The only solution I was left with is to run the engine non-stop while loading and unloading our items for the rest of the day/night. The distance traveling back and forth between houses was 6 miles roundtrip. Yet, I had to add $17 worth of fuel at the end of my rental. Safe to say the majority of that fuel was burned while parked with the engine running. I've used U-haul many times at work and home normally it would be my first suggestion when looking for a rental panel truck. After this experience, I doubt I'll ever look to U-haul for vehicle rental services.

15 mins after my rental drop off; I was contacked by A1 mini storage and informed that I dropped off the wrong rental. They confirm that I was charged for the wrong rental.

I found that the equipment was not in the truck when I reached my destination(30 miles) I have to came back to take it. Next time you should tell that the equipment is not inside the truck.The customer service was excellent.The lady was nice, patient and a smiling face. I will recommend this location to a friend.

This is not directed toward the location but uHaul corporate. System was down for the people to complete our reservation as well as another lady. I had to wait almost 2 hours, and the other lady waited 3 hours. The area field manager Cohran wasn’t answering, customer service was helpful, so the location managers waited with us after work hours and had to contact their previous Area field manager Desilvio who helped out. UHaul corporate is trash, this is the second time I have used y’all and have WAY too many issues. Also quit having me change pickup locations 2-3 times and stick with locations I request on the online reservation...

This comment isn’t related to the Pike St location but to the online booking and pickup process. The process was smooth overall, but its very inconvenient to have to provide two alternate contacts on the spot, when this information could’ve been gathered ahead of time when actually making the reservation. We were picking up our truck up later in the evening, and being told out of the blue that we had to not only give two contacts, but that those people had to be called, was pretty obnoxious. I won’t use the online/smartphone checkout again for that reason.
