Ensure the agents at this location are at least a little knowledgeable about the process to get the key to your vehicles. Also, ensure your pickup locations have cell phone coverage, as this one does not, which caused me to spend over an hour trying to connect to my App and to call a U-Haul representative, of which it took two to finally help me get access to the key. The vehicle I received had mechanical issues for the full 1,550 miles I had to use it to travel to my new destination. Plus, the passenger-side mirror was cracked. I had to take the vehicle as there were no other available at Livingston. This experience with U-Haul was horribly disappointing and created great frustration for me.

Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisThe Lady at the store kindly notified me this would be an online pickup. I had never done that before and was not familiar with the process, and the internet in this rural location was not working on my phone. I don’t believe reservation warned me of unattended pickup. Also the empty tongue weight on the 6x12 trailer seems somewhat high if no tongue jack is supplied. I managed to hook it up myself, but a lot of people are not strong enough. Kudos to your customer phone service team for helping me make it happen. Location was just fine, but online reservation system should be improved. Not trying to be negative - I am grateful a trailer was available!
