Once I got the truck everything was great. My only complaint is that I was moved to a new location 24 hours before pickup. Through no fault of U-haul, the previous renter did not return the truck to my original site. But this in turn doubled my mileage and there was no mention of a credit or waiver. I know I could have rented elsewhere it was late and we needed this truck to move my daughter.

It would have been helpful to have instructions stating that the trucks are actually behind the building and down a flight of stairs. Once we located the truck by wandering around and going down the stairs, we then discovered we needed to go back up the stairs to get the key, then back down the stairs to get back to the truck. Luckily, we are able bodied and were able to handle the stairs, but it was very stressful trying to locate everything.
David HThere is a lockbox for the truck keys and they don't tell you that the trucks are on the other side of the building and not behind the big locked garage door that you are standing in front of. I thought I needed another code for the other lockbox to unlock the garage door. Can't contact anyone at Ranglins on the weekend. Town was like Deliverance... should have known

Scott MI made my reservation back in November and when I showed up on the day of the location was closed and I had to call to have someone come out and then when the gentleman came out, he seemed like he just didn’t wanna be there and when he hooked up the trailer, he kept blaming a problem on the lights on my vehicle, but they were flickering on and off with meant that the lights were working There was just an issue with the ground connection so we ended up having to go to another U-Haul location to have the problem corrected before I ended up on the highway because the gentleman at Ranglin’s did not want to help me fix it because they were supposedly closed. What should’ve been a simple 30 minute pick up took me over two hours to correct the mistake that was not mine. I also called U-Haul and they let me know that Ranglin’s did not inform them that they were going to be closed that day and so there should have been someone available to help me and make sure that me and my trailer are ready to be on the road.
