I had to wait almost 35 minutes. I was late because of this located. They didn't know how to use the prom code it was horrible.
Manager didn't hold the door for me twice. I feel he needs better communication skills and lessons in customer service.
This location (8 N DuPont, Milford) was fantastic! I had to switch to them last minute as my original pick-up location (601 Marshall St, Milford, DE) failed to put the key in the lockbox. This caused an hour+ delay in acquiring a truck, but the people I talked to at 1-800-Go-UHaul and via uhaul.com's live chat did a great job of transferring my reservation over to the 8 N DuPont location and the person at 8 N DuPont (Jim) who took care of it when I got there was very helpful and professional. Great service from UHaul corporate and from 8 DuPont following 601 Marshall's mistake!
The app told me to put the keys in a lockbox but I was told the location no longer has a lock box so I gave it to the employee inside the store who to D me there was no lockbox
They could not make it any easier; definitely recommend using this location, and will again for sure.
The rep was very knowledgeable and friendly. Will use them again. Because of the circumstances, you don't really get a chance to read the contract thoroughly before signing so probably won't notice they charge you extra $14 for insurance and $1 for "environmental fee" but the value and ease of use is wonderful. Won't hesitate to use same location again.

Every thing was great.
would not take the truck in told me to bring it back tomorrow. would not take the trailer. i had to do an online check in and do it all myself. 2 girls i guess was afraid to drive a large truck. That was where i was asked to drop off the truck to save $50 ,but I'll never do that again.
With the online reservations, and the ease of which this location operates I can't say there is much to improve.
This first place I was suppose to pick up my truck left early and closed up when I got there to get my truck it won't let me finish the 24/7 I wasted a hr there then I had to drive 20 south of where o was headed to Wilmington but thank s to the young lady there in Milford was very good got me on the road fast.
Truck was dirty and returning it was a hassle
I was charged over $100 for the use of a $20 truck the charges and fees crazy
The clerk can barely speak or understand English. He has to call his boss then he gives you an ear piece out of his ear for you to communicate
Check out was slow. Clerk had to call someone so we waited a little bit

Have more trucks and open on weekends
I never signed any contract or was given a copy of any paperwork. Other locations I have rented from I was given a copy of the contract and signed before renting the truck and then signed again when releasing the truck. I'm not sure why this location if different.
I rented a truck and trailer. First of all I had to return them to two separate locations. This was quite inconvenient. Also when I rented it I was charged a $60 deposit and was told it would be refunded to me when I returned the trailer. I really didn't have the money to spare but since it was suppose to be refunded to me I went ahead and did it. The drop off location for the trailer was closed so I called the 800 number to let them know it was dropped off. When I explained to the representative about the deposit, she informed me the prior information I was given was incorrect. She stated I should have only been charged a flat fee for one way usage and no deposit should have been collected. She also said I could not get my $60 back. If I should not have been charged the deposit then Uhaul owes me $60.
The worst customer service ever !!!! Told us we couldn't have the small truck it was promised to another customer so we had to take a much larger truck we did not need, the small truck was never used it was still setting there when we got back. We asked if we could drop it off at a UHAUL need us and they said yes after we tried to return the truck to a location close to our home the wanted $198.00 "what" they made us return the truck back to the pick up station not a drop off near us. ALll this for fifteen miles to pick up furniture which now took three hours and extra miles( only because of driving it back to the pick up UHAUL) Took cash for the usage of gas no receipt just put it in the register. I have used UHAUL my whole life and "never" a had a problem. This experience was by far the absolute worst.
Because I believe l was over changed
Don't tell someone to put 20 miles in. Listen to ur customer.
