I had trouble using the app to retrieve my truck and then locked the keys, and my phone in the truck during the move, but the staff were very helpful and the road assistance man was quick and efficient. Thanks!

Exceptional service from the staff at U-Haul sur Jean-Talon Ouest. From the gentleman that coordinates your Check-in to the crew that met me when I returned, They all provided welcome guidance to make day move to Montreal a great experience. I work with hundreds of people as project manager, I would put all of this staff on my A Team - go to guy's. Yes I would highly recommend U-Haul sur Jean-Talon Ouest. JimB
Most unfriendly location I have ever been either in the US or Canada. Staff was extremely rude! Will NEVER go to that location again!!!
the agent at this location was very rude... he forced me to buy the insurance, and he said if you don't want, i will block 1000$ on your credit card and you have to call customer service yourself to do it. This is not the first time I use U-Haul, and never an agent spoke to me like this, but for sure I will not recommend this location where this agent was working to anyone.
I was billed for 3 days instead of 3 hours. The first van had a dead battery. It has often seemed to me that U-Haul should work at speeding up the process. The employees were friendly.
The customer service agent mumbled a bit when asking questions and/or giving instructions. The person was nice enough to repeat every time and never got angry at me for constantly asking so. I simply think it would be a quality to improve and make your customer service impeccable :)
They cancelled my 4-day reservation because I was 2 hours late and then I had to wait in line for half an hour to get the truck. My 10-ft truck was also changed to a 15-ft truck, which was much more stressful to drive.
1. Changed my reservation unannounced from 9am to 1:30 pm 2. When the time finally came, no van available for me possibly due to deficit management, costing me another hour in a busy moving day 3. Called customer service number, they never picked up. Called the branch, neither did they answer the phone.

The person at the desk was SO Rude, he shiuld find a job somewhere else!
The extra equipment Ordered (blankets, utility dolly) were not in truck at time of pick up. It would have been more efficient if they had been.
Branch opened late on pick up day (7:10).
There were some issues with the contactless pickup and the truck also did not show its mileage
more vehicles available in some locations.
Angela was amazing at completing our rental pickup. Sad that her other colleagues were NOT helpful... through her mask you could tell Angela was smiling and very professional.
The personnel was busy surfing the Internet and having a private conversation. Did not want to receive the truck and insisted that I drop the truck at another location quoting there is not space in the parking. although it was 90% empty. I had go online to drop the truck as if the location was closed.
Read some bad reviews. Didn't see it. Truck was what I needed, ready to go when I arrived and service with a smile.

The online authorization process while checking in was very long. After uploading drivers license picture, I had to wait 20 minutes before an agent authorised the transaction. 20 minutes under the sun in a parking lot waiting. During that time nobody would answer the chat. There should be a time indicator informing customers how long the wait is going to be.
