Truck had inadequate worn tires for Vermont. I drove the truck initially home six miles. We were unable to move it at the house on flat ground. All other cars could get in and out. Sanded no help. Had to be towed. never used it but still charged full price.Jeremy F.

Was charged for a "wrong destination fee" out of thin air. Called and said I'll get a refund, still waiting on it. I was told this has been happening often with Uhaul, ie people have been being charged twice. Unprofessional and greedy system, employees are nice, but not worth it when you have to triple check your fees to make sure you're not being ripped off.Taylor Z.

The 15' vehicle smelled of cigarette smoke. I know the vehicle has signs that say "no-smoking", but fines should be enforced when people that rent these vehicles smoke in them. Highly undesirable for someone that has "smoke allergies". Other than that, perfect!Bob D.

After <100 miles, the "change oil soon" indicator came on. The van also smelled of manure or maybe a dead animal? But otherwise in good shape for a U-Haul that is used to move things around. The staff at the facility were nice and accommodated me leaving my car onsite. The reason for having to leave my car onsite was because I reserved the van for a location much closer to my house, but U-Haul changed the reservation to a location 20+ miles away. Your online system should NOT have shown the vehicle available at the location closer to me if I couldn't pick it up there. Your after hours drop off tool is cumbersome and took me a long, frustrating time to complete. The "change oil soon" alert thwarted my effort to take a picture of mileage for your online drop off tool; it was dark and picture taking was difficult; and, I started the process before I completely unloaded the van into my car on the lot and because you wanted pictures of the inside of the car, I had had to restart the process after unpacking. Due to COVID, the van needs to be sanitized by the facility to ensure safety of the next customer, plus, the picture does NOT tell you how the van smelled.Shanie B.

1) I was not told that the Littleton drop off location was closed, even when I said Littleton. I learned through a call from Uhaul 5 minutes after I already picked up my rental with the agreed mileage. 2) Employee was not wearing a mask/facial covering, but was visibly sweating and coughing.Hannah B.

The truck had 135,000 miles on it, the check engine light was on, the passenger door would not shut all the way and at times it would not go into reverse. It should be retired. Also, the truck did not have a license plate on it.David A.
Gas gauge was stuck. Tried to fill the truck back to the level gas was when picked up but would not read any change until over $60 was pumped into the tank and then it jumped to full. Had to put $40 in the tank more than should have.Jesse F.
When a trailer is being used to cross country tires should be checked well. I was given a trailer with tires in poor condition and had a blowout on the highway which could have been really bad. When renting a long distance trailer the tires should be in better condition.Andrew G.
I am so very grateful to Zach at this location. He went so far above and beyond to assist me. I had a reservation for a truck at the North Wolcott Country Store at 10:00am. I was a half hour early to find a closed store, no trucks, no people, and no cell service. I waited about 40 minutes, then started driving to get cell service. I found the North Wolcott Country Store's # was disconnected. A half hour after my scheduled pick up time, I got an email from UHaul saying that my reservation was changed and my truck was ready for pickup at a location 2 hours from me. This was laughable, and absolutely unacceptable. I called Robert & Sons to see if they could help me, and Zach had me drive there, and started making calls and seeing what he could do. Even if I hadn't been able to leave his location with a truck, I was so grateful to Zach for his efforts. He had a returned truck come in and I was able to use that one. He provided top notch service in a really stressful situation.Kristy P.
