I went to return my uhaul last Sunday and my card was getting declined for an additional $173.00 I was not going to unlock my card for uhaul to process that because there was already a pending hold for that amount. I kept getting the declining message then it said if I kept getting that notice to proceed with after hours drop. The next morning I get the receipt and uhaul charged me an additional $20 to close out the contract (in other words Iâ€™m paying for them to do their jobs) I called traffic and was told that the location would remove the charge itâ€™s been 7 days and I have not yet received that credit back to my card.
Everything was excellent; I checked in online; not sure why I had to check in at the store w/an attendant. Next time - lockerbox with key? But everything else was great! Thank you!

Make certain to mail receipts or provide printed receipts. Check to make sure bill is correct before billing. My bill was incorrect and now I am waiting for a refund.
In the old days, frequent customers were welcomed back with a smile and a nice comment. They knew your name. Not so with you guys. I'm always treated like a stranger at this location, even though I'm a regular. Sad.

They gave me an open trailer and they promised me an in close 6x12 trailer. I had no choice, but to get it because I already had plans.
I ordered a rental on the uhaul website, confirmed a pick up time and location just to only come and find out that the place i had ordered the rental pickup was closed. No notification, no alert, nothing to notify me about that location closing its doors during standard operating hours. Whats worse is that i was forced to pick up from a different location that was further from my original destination causing me to spend more money than i should have on mileage on top of charging me a higher mileage rate than what i had originally ordered online. There was no compensation for the trouble that was caused to me. Nothing for my time wasted and money lost. False advertising is illegal and i will be talking to some lawyers about this issue and your company's shady business practice. I am never using your services again, and will be telling everyone i know about your shady business practice.

Use the tripmeter to track your miles because the truck I rented did not match the odometer. The odometer displayed 831 when I drove to the intersection stopped at the red light which is around the corner from their lot which approximately 400 yards before I reseted the the tripmeter and drove 8.8 miles according to the tripmeter. When I returned the truck to my surprise the odometer displayed 841. I explained to the employee that drive 400 yards and reset the tripmeter. She said they can only go by the odometer and I understand that, but either the odometer or tripmeter is not calibrated properly. My advise is reset the tripmeter before you leave take a photo of the tripmeter and odometer. Short trips no big deal but longer trips I would be concern. So reset the tripmeter and take a picture and compare it with the odometer at the end. Might save you some bucks I hope.
Nothing great customer service
Reservation process over the phone was very efficient. Upon arriving, the "paperwork" was completed promptly. As the paperwork was being done, the vehicle that I rented was being brought around to the front of the facility. Once the paperwork was complete, there was about a 2-3 minute wait for the vehicle. Returning the vehicle was just as efficient/intuitive, pulled into their return line. Was checked in within a couple of minutes and on my way.
Need Better customer service. No employee was insight when arrived. Waited for a good 15 minutes for help as store was unattended. Never got a call stating equipment was not available as promised. Waited another 15-30 minutes to get me checked out.

Person who helped us mentioned we can drop off vehicle after-hours as we did. She should have mentioned the $20 after hour service fee.
Only one employee behind the counter with 4 to 5 customers waiting. After waiting for 15 minutes the associate that wait on me was very pleasant with great customer service.
