Broken mirror ice and snow on windshield several days after some snow as well as ice around the truck where you enter and exit. The self service was not as bad as I thought it would be.

I am so disappointed in this rental first of all my pick up time was 11am I didn't pick up truck until almost 1pm because when I got to location I didn't know everything had to be done on phone and then because I was having trouble when I went to the door to get some assistance the woman was of no help said I had to call 800 number really I was in the parking lot from 1130-1245 trying to sign in to pick up truck so when i finally got someone on the phone they talked me through it so I got the truck at one and I needed it for four hours do you know someone had the nerve to call me at three to see if I was coming back what the heck and then I look at my bill are you serious I'm so disappointed with this company don't think I will be using them ever again !!!!!!
This was the worst experience I have ever dealt with in my life. The whole entire process of trying to rent a vehicle was nothing more than disgusting. Everything has to be done online, nobody never answers the phone, and the person working in the store would not let me in and she was very rude and disrespectful. I will never use uhaul again. Such a horrible service. I suggest you should make major improvements.
People wouldn't assist at site. Uhaul makes everything online at the location which was extremely difficult and I am tech savvy with a good iPhone. Had to get tech help which wasn't helpful as phone was already at settings needed. 1-800 number put me to Toms River and that phone lady said husband could drive but when he got to site he was told no. Covid or not, people should be able to use UHaul computers at site to â€œregister â€œ. A nightmare and never again.
Stop charging for miles and then trying to charge a late fee if we like 20 mins late you guys false advertising 19.99 when it's like damn near 100 I would never Use you guys again I'd rather get a moving company

I booked a dolly and blanket along with the truck. Just to find out they don't have it a that location after I get there.. they don't provide it due to covid!!! Seriously..if that was the case..why would other locations have it...ad do they sanitize the trucks..before I rent it...don't think so It just made my moving..harder
I am very disappointed with this rental , it was not what I expected, first I arrive to this location at 9 am, the office was open into 9:15 employee at this places was a women very nasty attitude, i ask simple cuestiÃ³n I am here to pick up my rental, well you have to do over the phone or call the number is out side everything what I said is posted at the door, she basic throw me out at the office under a rainy day , I call the main number 3 time I never get answer Thus was very dusty, wipers don't work properly , doors security lock don't work , I have to buy one to lock the door, leaking water all over my stuff , this Thea worst experience I ever have I do not recommending this side
My 9' van was fine except for an two indicators which signaled â€œ needs oil change soon â€œ and â€œ add air in left rr tire â€œ . The tires looked fine but I worried about this the whole 4 hours I had it . I was on the highway. When I returned the van and reported it the associate told me â€œ oh yeah we knew about that .â€Would have been nice to know .
When I initially picked up a truck, it had warning alerts that 1 tire had low pressure, and it also needed oil. I was told by the agent in the office that it had been checked 3 times and it was a faulty wire. That caused me some concern as I was driving approximately 600 miles with the vehicle. Evidently during the week while I had the truck, there was some type of emergency that shut down the rental location. I was never contacted and told about this or advised to drop off at a different location. I showed up at my scheduled time to return it on Sun Oct 18th, and spent over 2 hours trying to get the truck returned. I had to make over 5 calls to your service area, each with at least a 10 minute wait time before I was able to speak to someone, and I was mis-directed twice to the wrong service group. Your "share" app did not work either to allow me to return the vehicle through my phone. I continually received error messages that it could not locate this particular location. All in all, a terrible customer service experience and I will likely not use u-haul or this facility again in the future. Please contact me if you would like to discuss further. The check in processing took way to long. It should not take 45 minutes for approval. There is no reason to have to verification from 2 outside sources. It going to make me think of other options when renting a truck or van going forward.
We ordered moving blankets and none were provided. I should have been made aware of that ahead of time. The sign-in process is very complex. Took 25 minutes!! Otherwise, all went well. The staff we dealt with were very helpful.

Truck box could have been better swept. Had some technical difficulty with app trying to provide certain info.
They gave me a van that was filthy inside and outside(during pandemic). Tire pressure light light was on. I go inside to tell them and the female worker tells me not to worry about it. I had to spend extra time in the parking lot sanitizing van and taking pictures due to the vehicle being unsanitary upon receiving the van. Customer service was terrible. I will not visit that location again nor will I recommend it to others.
My rental van needed and oil change and had at least one tire under pressure.
Everything was ok but I don't like how the app to pick up your rental is set up
Experience was horrible. The truck was clean, and that is where the good part ends. The oil light was on. The truck was terrifying to drive so I called UHaul for assistance. I sat on hold for almost 2 hours. Instead of connecting me to roadside assistance, support connected me back to the end of the line to speak to support. The roadside assistance employee expected me to check the oil in the vehicle. This is completely in acceptable. I paid to pick up a truck in good condition, use it and return it. It was barely drivable, and made horrible noises going over 55 mph. The overall experience was awful.
The store girl was horrible. She's lacking manners to deal with customers. She doesn't know how to talk to maintain customers .
My experience was wonderful! Kristen at Compass was very helpful and answered all of my questions and I had quite a few! I will definitely use Uhaul from the Compass location again in the very near future as I have 2 storage clean units to clean out.
