Don’t try to pick up the truck with the online app. It’s slow and inefficient. It would have been 5 minutes if I’d walked in and spoken to an agent, which I eventually did after 25 minutes on the app and still not done. For drop off, it never told me where to leave the key. The app is a good idea but needs to be improved.

The person who helped me at this location was knowledgeable, helpful, and forthcoming with information. She was good at letting me know the ins and outs of what a local move entails versus a 1 way trip. She provided amazing assistance and I regret that I didn't catch her name. Also it should be noted that the trip managers (I think they're called) were a HUGE help too when I had questions and concerns. Remarkable set up honestly.

I read lots of bad reviews regarding this location. I have to say they either changed personnel or those customers were perpetuil complainers. I would have done the auto drop off but had issues logging in. I went inside and the employee jumped right up and said no worries that was his job to check me in anyway. Drop off took about 5 minutes and my receipt was emailed to me immediately. Very helpful employees.

I did have two issues. One was the gas tank wasn’t at the level that my paper stated and I didn’t notice it until I was half way down the road. 2nd is I ordered two dolly’s & I only had one which made the entire move a bit longer. Would’ve called but I signed for the truck and then picked it up after the store was closed. Other than that, I was very pleased with the service & location.

Uhaul treats customers poorly. They changed locations on me without letting me know. It wasn't till I confirmed I was told I have to drive 30 minutes out of my way to get a truck. The added mileage that's where they make their money.

I don’t have any problem with this location. But I have been renting U-Haul trucks and vans for years and your new pick up/ drop off process is laughable. I have my own business, I don’t need to work for you. I don’t get a discounted rate to do your employee jobs. There is no reason I need to take 6 pictures and fill out a form to drop off.. that is your job.. I just need to make sure it’s clean and drop the key.. that is it.. .. why are you making your customers work for you??? I’ll pay double, to just leave the van and go.

When we got there, there was no one at the office and no sign of anyone around... we had to wait 15 minutes for someone to show up... on top of that, one of the attendants who showed up was absolutely terrible to deal with... I dealt with him while renting the storage unit. He was rude and didn’t really know how to do his job. It took him super long to get me a storage unit and he couldn’t find it on the map so I had to ask if I could look and I found it immediately... the attendant was very unhelpful and absolutely not trying to make me have a good experience. He had a terrible attitude and didn’t know what he was doing. At the same time, I will say that a second attendant was there and she was very lovely to deal with (I dealt with her while renting the truck). She smiled and was in a good mood and tried to make sure I had everything I needed. When I dropped off the truck at 7:02, the male attendant just said, “we’re closed, we can’t help you, do self check out....” while the female attendant came out and said she could help me and was so nice and helpful. It’s crazy to me that you have such disparities in your workforce.

Truck had mechanical problems. Also charged us for pads and the dolly after the fact. There was no dolly inside the truck. Never asked for either and was charged for them. Truck had over 110,000 miles on it. In my opinion any truck that has that many miles on it should not be rented. Buyer be ware!

had no idea until one day before we were to pick up the trailer that we would have to travel to New Haven to acquire it. Had rented the vehicle in Guilford, CT and were extremely busy getting things ready for our trip. Going to New Haven was not in our schedule. There were 4 or 5 people handing around the desk when we arrived, the young lady did handle our reservation sufficiently, but the rest of the crew was just hanging around until my husband had to come out and ask for help. Would prefer not to do business at this location again.

Customer service was great. No problem there. I did run into a problem with the gas meter. Beings though I had this problem on even a month ago with uhaul. I was prepared this time. The print out of the gas meter read 3/4 of a tank. Upon entry of the uhaul I noticed it was literally on the line right after 1/2 tank. So I snapped a pick of when I entered and exited the vehicle to show my findings and not be charged for gas because I put it exactly back where it was at. I would only say make sure the meter is where they say because this is the 2nd time in 1 month I was charged for them having a false reading of the meter and the first time was at a different location. Uhaul as a whole not just state st needs to work on this.

the staff swtiched the truck to a different one but forgot to update it in the computer. This made it difficult to check it in via the mobile app. otherwise no issues.
