Trucks are regularly used for snow removal contractors and returned sprayed out causing a layer of ice or slush to sit in the back of the truck all of the available rentals at this location were afflicted with this issue. They offered moving blankets but overall most of my boxes absorbed large amounts of water while I was moving homes. Thankfully none of my belongings were damaged by the moisture. The trucks are also extremely dirty inside the cab the windows covered in nicotine and the dash full of dust and ash from cigarettes being smoked in the units. The mechanical functionality of the truck was questionable as while driving with a very light load the truck struggled to get up to speed and hesitated to shift regularly at normal intervals red lining occasionally before a very jerky shift. With only 168k miles. I don't so much as blame the location for the condition of these trucks as the workers and representatives were very accommodating and helpful. I blame the renters out there that have the mindset of "it's not mine who cares" and just abuses and trashes these units for others. I think that better customers or more strict standards on rentals would help improve the experience. I remember renting uhauls when I was younger and my parents using them and they were some of the nicest cleanest units I've seen almost like getting a loaner car from a dealer.
