Customer service was shit. They were rude. The windshield was all streaky and I cleaned the strip behind the seats has like spilt soda or something on the door that looks like it's been there forever. Told me to return my vehicle with the same amount of gas I got it with. I did exactly that and they tried to charge me $20 for missing gas?! Never againHAILEY C.

Your road side assistance customer service people told me I will not be covered for lock out service even though I paid additional insurance to have road side assistance and such. That upset me greatly and ruined my day. 25 min later CS person called me back to apologize. Why be so incompetent and tell customer wrong info and upset customer and than apologize. I would have like to see the sales person come out wih me and look over the truck before and after the truck was returned.ROSLYN H.
The person I spoke to on the phone lied to me. I told him I needed to move a mattress and box spring. He recommended the 10 foot box truck. I inquired about the long distance deal on line and he told me that after 100 miles it would be .69 cents per mile. When I picked up the truck the person at the counter also told me that it would be .69 cents after the first $100. He also told me it would be adjusted after the truck was returned. When I called on Monday to question why the rental was so high he told me that neither him or the person on Sunday told me that. He said the .69 cents over the 100 miles was for the cargo van. Then I questioned him why he recommended the 10 foot box. Also when I started the truck the check engine light was on and the passenger door arm rest was broken. When I questioned about the check engine light I was told â€œit should be alrightâ€. I will never rent from UHaul again nor recommend U Haul to anyone if they allow people and locations like this one to represent them. I have disputed the charge with Capitol One. U haul app is not great for checking in. It took me over an hour to get my truck because of the back and forth with the pictures. And it saying it couldn't find my location. I reserved the truck 1 month early... 2 days before they call and tell me they will not be open for 2 hrs later than my pick up.... biggest thing the app needs improvement!!Marlen W.
The experience was a nightmare. I rented a 26' truck well ahead of time only to find out the day before that my unit was unavailable. I was on the phone with customer service who arranged for two 10' units to be rented. they had promised me a credit to make it right but every time I call in the hold times are insanely long. The saving grace was your rep Samantha in the DE HQ. She remembered my situation and rectified the financial portion of the experience. Overall: Customer Service: A+ BUT - Long Hold Times (30 minutes on Sunday and gave up. - App kept timing out while trying to get the keys...had to call corporate again - Shortage of unitsDaniel C.

The mobile check in did not go smooth. Better instructions would have been appreciated. We didn't know that Safari was needed to take the pictures. It delayed us picking up the vehicle and resulted in a late return which we were charged for. The bed of the truck was not clean We had to sweep it out before loading.Nancy F.
