Not confuse locks put on the trucks... But, overall the 24/7 check in experience was easy and straight forward, would definitely do again.

Wednesday I reserved a 17ft truck for Saturday at 9:30am. I was never contacted by a representative as my email stated and less than 24hrs before I was to pick up the vehicle I was sent a text stating my vehicle would be ready for pick up at 3:45pm. I contacted the U-Haul location and scheduling department who weren’t much help. I ended up getting a 10ft truck that wasn’t available until 10:30am which caused me to make extra trips using more miles and gas which I had to pay for.

I did not receive the equipment I rented. I found work gloves in the cab. Calling customer service several times about this was extremely stressful. I spent well over an hour on the phone over 3 calls.

There is this shop which has restaurant, mobile screen repair and U haul and god knows what else. 1) First of all, he didn't send me my reservation to my email or didn't give me copy when I picked up my equipment on Friday around 7 p.m. I rented U haul before also, for 4-5 times. Generally U haul representative give you receipt at the time when you pick up, and show truck or bring truck out for you. When I asked this guy, he said It will come to your email. 2) I reserved this equipment online for 24 hours. I thought if I will finish moving stuff early I can always return early. So during the time of renting, he didn't give me a receipt, moreover he never linked this reservation to my account. So when I wanted to return this equipment at Friday night only, I could not, because in my account it was still saying that I had to pick up this. and I also didn't know how much fuel I had to refill. becoz he never gave me receipt of my reservation of friday. 3) during the time of renting, he requested me to return equipment in the morning of Saturday if I can, so that he can give this to another customer. Because I couldn't return this on Friday night, I have gone to return this on Saturday morning at 10:30. But his stored wasn't open. So I left equipment there and left because I had some other stuff to take care. Then I received two phone calls from him saying, he could not find the keys. and I explained him I didn't return this equipment because I didn't know how much to refill. So I have gone to her shop around 11:30 a.m. on saturday morning then rather than giving me printouts, he emailed me my Friday reservation copy, so that I know how much fuel to refill. So I have gone to the gas station, refill 4.07 galons of gas and went to his shop to return this truck. Again, as being highly unprofessional, he couldn't attend me as he was on another phone call for few minutes. I told him I refill the fuel and parked his equipment. and he just nodded. 4) and after all this, he charged my for 2 galons of gas. I don't want to pay for the gas, because I have a receipt saying that I refill the gas tank. I consider this guy as highly unprofessional, and cheater as he charged me for fuel. In fact I refill even more than what is required. Please let me know if you need picture of my receipt. I would appreciate if I hear back from you. Thank you, Chintan P.S. I think it is really important to attend customer and talk with them nicely and provide all the required documents, so that U haul person and customer both are covered. I think that this shop keeper has so many business in side this small shop and can't focus on one thing. Due to this location and his other business, I found it hard to take out u Haul from parking lot on Friday as well it was difficult to park while returned on Saturday. I just think that this shop keeper is not serious for U Haul business and this place is very congested.

When making the reservation online I was given a pickup and a drop off location and at the last minute actually a few hours before hand I was told of a new location to pick my truck up which was 15 miles out of my way which has a total of 30 miles which I would have to pay for extra. I went to my original spot the night before and I saw my truck there so I have no idea why my location was changed. When I inquired I was told that they did not have my truck at that location and I told the vendor that I was looking right at it. So that was upsetting and it was way out of my way. I've been using U-Haul to move for 20 years and after this I will not use them again because the inconvenience was staggering at such a late notice into ad cost once I move and mess up my budget was unacceptable.

Good customer service, helped me correct my order to add furniture pads. Key retrieval policy was confusing with having to return the padlock, but they were flexible in me returning the padlock later in the day.

Night before, Owner moved my pick up from 8am until 10am. Owner showed up at store at 10:20. Further delayed by slow computer. Generally disorganized. Felt rushed to return truck by 4pm as I lost the extra time by the late pick-up. I’ll probably pick a different location next time.

Back was dirty, inside needed vacuum and wipe down and outside was dirty and could have used a wash. All guy did was get a broom and sweep the back.

This was the worst experience I have had with U-Haul. My reservation was changed 3 times. I had to go to 2 different locations. The truck I needed was not available. I had to wait for the owner to come to the store which was closed and pad locked. Then I needed a 17ft truck and was given a 15ft truck which cost me time because I had to make 2 trips instead of 1. Which is why I was 45 minutes late getting the truck back. A 20ft truck was available, however the representative who showed up in slippers wouldn't rent me that truck for the price of the 17ft which is what I had reserved. When I returned there was no place to park on the lot so I pulled next door which was empty. The only thing the representative said was your late. I was late because I had to wait for him to show up and unlock his store. I was late because I didn't get the truck size I needed. I should not be charged a late fee I wasn't given what I needed when I needed it as the customer. i may not use U-Haul again. This was a horrible experience.

Uhaul initially confirmed my order for 8:30am pickup for 8 hours. But the night before changed my pickup to 11:30am and to return by 4:30pm !! Unprofessional of uhaul. The truck arrived late at 12pm and the store managed to change the return to 5pm. Not sure of renting from uhaul again. The store was fine.

My reservation was for Today March 30th 2018 at 3 PM and I was unable to pickup rental until 3:28 PM because the owner was not at the location. At check-in the location was unable to provide a receipt because his printer was not working and emailed it to me. This vehicle is advertised on the web site for $19.95/$0.29 per mi and when I received my receipt I am being charged $89.00/100 free mi/11 mi at $0.29per mi instead. When locking in my reservation we were given the quote of $19.95/0.29 per mi and I am very disappointed with the great discrepancy between the price $19.95/$0.29 per mi quoted on the web site and the 89.00/100mi free/11mi at $0.29 price charged. Sorely Disappointed
