I was very Happy with this Storage co, I was not happy with why I had to come to this Co. I was unable to use the All A/C Storage due to being unable to get in after hours from a very long trip, and also when we went in the next morning, we didn't have enough time to un pack before they were closing, closed at 1:00 on Sunday. My first month through Uhaul was supposed to be free. I ended up having to pay $325.00 with this Co. because they were the only place open at that time and I was able to get access after closing. My granddaughter was unable to go to Sea World that day, due to all the issues. I will not be using Uhaul in the future for storage. I believe I am owed the $325.00 for my first month free as promised.

I will NEVER use Uhaul again.. when I got my Uhaul the “systems were down” and the manager let me take the trailer anyways.. He took no form of payment and didn’t give me a contract to sign or anything. So when I delivered this Uhaul the gentlemen said it looked like I stole the the trailer. I have to call customer service which took me about 25 min to get through.. and deal with everything again for about 45 min.. I would never recommend this rental facility.

This unit when you got over 50 mph, had a very loud whistling sound, had to make shift some ear plugs for the long ride.

Overall, a very good experience. Only one complaint. We left some moving blankets and a dolly in the rear of the truck that we thought we had removed. We called and asked the attendant to check the truck for us and hold the items. The attendant said she looked in the truck and the items were not there. We called back and asked them to locate the items and hold them for us. We have not heard from them. We would like to have our property back. Thank you, J. Vanderpool. 352-571-5116

Manager, Mark, was friendly and helpful. His inventory of trucks was very low and there was some concern UHaul wouldn't have a truck available in time, in the size best suited for the job. He was also short of moving blankets. Fortunately, Mark received a truck and had it ready to go when I was. Unfortunately, the truck itself (15 footer) isn't very comfortable for a long distance drive during a heat wave. We ended up at a truck stop buying seat cushions and a 12 volt fan. Climate control on the passenger side was particularly bad. Extremely hot at floor level despite air conditioning. There are floor vents but for some reason (perhaps only known to the truck's manufacturer) A/C only blows from the dash vents. Insulation around the engine housing that extends inside the cab and/or floor level air ducts that operate in conjunction with the A/C would improve this.

We made our reservation at the Stonecrest Location near our home for a 10 foot nearly a month ago. We had stopped at least twice in the last three weeks to be sure the 10 foot would be available. Lisa assured us there was no problem and be there at 9 a.m .on June 5. When we arrived at 9 a.m. she said no vehicle. We would have to go to the Oxford location. Almost 10 miles away. That added 20 miles to our trip and an extra hour. The people at Compass storage were very nice and pleasant but I don't appreciate the way we were treated and the extra mileage that we did not anticipate. With U-Haul, it doesn't matter if you make a reservation, you will get what they want you to have, where they want you to have it. Would have been nice if they had informed us before hand.

I DO NOT LIKE TO TREATED LIKE I AM STUPED. WE WERE CHARGED $10.00 FOR COVERAGE AND WAS NEVER ASKED IF THIS IS WHAT WE NEEDED OR WANTED. THIS IS WAS NOTHING BUT A SNEAK. SO IF I WAS TO RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION I WOULD HAVE TO LET THEM KNOW WHAT HE DID.

I specified no insurance when I reserved the truck and my emailed bill had a $14 charge for it. That was a quarter of the bill.

I disagree with the 25 $ cleaning fee when there was only a water bottle left in uhaul and a pack of gum .. I will have to move one more time in the next 6 months .. and not sure I will use uhaul again or recommend to my clients of which I service in the real estate business on a daily basis
