We experienced the big LA rain storm. The trailer leaked. Fortunately, the water damage was minor (soft items) and the wooden furniture didn't get wet. The manager who installed the hitch and arranged the trailer, Erica Marquez, was excellent in every way - customer service and technical excellence - and worthy of a bonus.

I'm not sure I would recommend this location. Another problem I had was I asked to receive a receipt and I was told it would be sent to my email in which I updated earlier 2 times, and they sent the receipt to the wrong email so I tried to get my receipt using my contract number but they sent a verification code to the wrong email again so I had to wait on the phone for customer service for over 20 minutes. Although I will say once I finally was connected things got settled in a polite manner.

We cant say enough good about a fellow named Fidel. He was so patient and kind...even when computer was giving him grief..what an amazing representative for your company. There was another fellow named Jacob that helped us out too. Kudos to both these young men from very satisfied customers!

When bringing back the vehicle on 11/19/18, with about 10 minutes before close, I felt rushed and the ending rates and fees were not itemized or gone over with me by Fidel inside the store. He took a good 10 minutes with the young man in front of me and was very detailed with that customer. I was only told that the driver (my relative) had "checked in" the vehicle with Josh and I took Fidel's word for it. But, the "driver" of the vehicle was not paying for the rental, I was. So, why is this important part of the rental (where they charge your card!) not reviewed in detail with the person on the contract? The gas tank was at the same level as when we picked up the truck, but Josh had put in his app on his phone that the tank was at an 1/8 of a tank less (which automatically added $30 "service fee and $13.50 fuel charge). The check-out process was (and should be!) as detailed as the check-in. Fidel only asked if he can charge the credit card on file. I asked what the charges were but he said he could not see the total or what was being charged because it was on Josh's phone. We went outside to look at Josh's phone to see what card exp date was there so I could ok the use of the card. I said to use the card on file and then Fidel said "ok it has been charged and you will get an email with the receipt." Thinking we were done, I started to walk away and then asked, if he could see how much was charged and he said $133 and some change. My relative was waiting in the car and was not present so I assumed that Fidel was correct since he told me that Josh had gone over all of it with my relative, the driver. Later that night, I looked at my email for the receipt and there was no email. I went into a chat session from the UHaul website with "Matthew". He sent me the email with the receipt. I looked at the receipt and told him about the incorrect gas tank level. I had to leave the chat session to ask my relative about it and Matthew ended the chat session due to me being gone 3-5 minutes. I started ANOTHER chat session and got Matthew again. Matthew submitted a "Dispute" ticket for the gas tank level and charges to be resolved. Today (the next day) I called the UHaul location and spoke with John (I asked for Erica and he said she was not in today). I explained to John the above in detail. He made the correction for me and said $43 would be refunded. If there is a problem or question, this location will correct it in the customer's favor and I really appreciate John's professionalism and maturity. If he is not an assistant manager or shift manager he should be! Really on top of things! Very calm and explained things well. This is the 2nd time this month that I have used this location and with the good service and good listening skills John exhibited today, I will use this location again.
