you should confirm all my alleged purchases at the time i checkin so Im not shocked later that I was charged for something I never bought. Its appalling that locations and customer service cant share systems or communicate with eachother. Even if this location was not at fault, they should have access to my order history so Im not getting bounced around

I had a one way rental from Philadelphia to Middletown Delaware. I was told I would call for a drop off location. When I called I was told I would take the truck to Wilmington Delaware and I could set up storage at this place. I picked the truck up at 2 and arrived in Middletown 5-6. I was told the drop off location was closed and I was scheduled to drop off Sunday. I arrived in Wilmington at 10-11 am. I was processed for a storage unit. Walking into the building to check out the unit the odor was horrible. Rat/mouse traps everywhere. I expressed that I would not leave my things in a rat infested place. The worker replied well that is why we offer insurance. Again I called the 1800 number for U-Haul. I was transferred EIGHT times! I was told that a manager was not available. A manager was SUPPOSED to call me within 48 hours. this didn’t occur! I was billed for both a one way trip and daily. I just called again and the representative got frustrated with me asking for an explanation for how I can get charged for both a one way and daily so she hung the phone up! U-Haul management should resolve and compensate for ALL issues!

Great in person but why don’t they pick up their phone EVER?! I was calling to let them know i’d be late to get my rental and they put my on hold before I even got a word in. I was on hold for over an hour and I eventually hung up. Then of course they called me later on asking why I was late. So incredibly frustrating. I don’t think they were ever going to pick up my call. Multiple Philly locations are like this.

Really good customer service from the woman who helped me get the motorcycle trailer connected up to my car. She was very patient, solved a problem that was specific to my vehicle and also personable. I think her name was "Max" - but not entirely certain.

Everyone was great. I had a van with a broken mirror so they got me another vehicle really quickly. Super crowded when I returned and the attendant handled it easily. Excellent service. I use the van for my school’s graduation each year so it useful to be able to count on this location. ??????????

I booked the uhaul they called my mothers phone to confirm that the location has switched to a Camby, 24 minutes away. and also this delays us from 7am which is the time our prefered location opens, vs 10am now at this camby location arrive at camby, they ask if my destination is to diamond pointe, Indiana when if fact we are moving accross the country. this is alarming and troubling to hear when you have a full day of pakcing and driving ahead of you. the front desk lady continued to ask questions and say shes not sure why everything on my order is messed up. she takes a long time. then asks if she can erase everything and redo the order. we are now 30 minutes behind on top of the original 3 hours. she then goes on to ask if we ordered any dollys. I said yes. she said oh sorry we dont have any at this locatino. she then takes another 15 minutes fumblnig around and calling advisor asking what to do. she then says okay sry, i will refund your dolly purchase, and you can do down the street to this other office who i just confirmed has dollys. we go to this location. my fiance gets out and speaks with the front desk. the guy at the front desk says he can not give us any dollys becuase he has no record of us or our order. we then leave becuase this man was very frighening and has shwastika tattoos all over him which we found very very offensive. At this point we are now very behind and have missed our scheduled couch pick-up so we have to reschdule that. then, we try to call other locatinos to find dollys beucase we are two ppl and can not carry these boxes without help from dollys. after calling 4 locations, and 20 minutes of being on hold later, the downtown location finally picks up the phone and says we can come pick up two dollys. we had paid movers to help us with the move and it is a specific time window we get them, and we missed 2 and a half hours of their services and only have 30 minutes with them instead. this in total caused us to arrive in philadelphia way behind schedule and to hit traffic we planned to miss. on top of that, our scheudeld time with the philadelphia police department to block off the road for our truck, was also missed. we then had to park the truck a whole 2 blocks over and had to move like that

The employees were very nice and professional. Unfortunately, I had problems with the furniture pads that I rented. I noticed when packing that some of them reeked of pet urine and cigarette smoke, which was quite unpleasant. However, I didn't have time and didn't have upholstered items, so I did not attempt to exchange them. A more significant problem is that one of the furniture pads had broken glass embedded it in. I did not see the glass (even though the pad was marked, it had been repackaged to be rented again), and it damaged an antique dresser that is a family heirloom and that we had just paid over $1000 to have refinished.

This was such an easy process. Everyone at this location was very friendly and accommodating. The only thing I would say needs to be impr Bed is that I asked if a standard van would fit a queen-sized mattress, which it did, but not easily. I thinkfor others moving a queen sized bed, a 10’ box truck should be reccomended.
