I chose the u-Haul location based on its proximity to my house. However, the truck was stationed at a remote location that was further from my house and required me to take an Uber to and from an Arco gas station. Although I appreciate the concept of having remote locations to pick up U-Haul trucks, the attendants at the gas station had very little idea on how to check the vehicle in and out. Dropping off my keys took about 35 minutes and required that the attendant make several phone calls in order to do the procedure properly, and for me to receive a email receipt. If remote locations are going to be used, it should be ensured that the employees of those locations are well-versed in making the U-Haul pick up and drop off procedures as efficient as possible. The remote location also did not have the correct size truck. I requested the smallest size truck and got one that was far bigger and unnecessary for my moving needs.

I like U-Haul but this particular rental the engine light was on when I got the truck and the brakes was really bad it still didn't what I needed to do but would have been nice and that vehicles make me laugh but I really do enjoy bridging from U-Haul you my number one overall thanks you all
ANNA BWas fine, but this was the second time Uhaul had me drop off at a location other than my designated spot. I arrange my rentals ahead of time to avoid things like this.
Felicia BOn website, we rented furniture dolly, only to discover upon picking up the truck that they did not have a furniture dolly. Also, we filled up the gas tank with a little bit more than was in the truck when we rented it. We were still charged $14.25 fuel fee. We will protest this charge. The Uhaul fuel estimator via photo does not accurately capture the fuel level. We even added another gallon of gas to try to get it to read the gas level and not charge the $14.25 fee, then the app stated that we owed even more. Ridiculous!
