My reservation was absolutely incorrect compared to the online info I had set up. The rig was filthy both inside the cab and in the back. There was fast food wrappers and containers and personal items left behind from the previous driver. The back of the truck was covered in debris. When the employee showed me the back he said that I would need to return it cleaner than that or I would be charged. He also said that he charged the previous driver. This is 100 percent unprofessional. I will be following up with both Uhaul and the A Boy location I was sent to. I will not be using Uhaul in the future and will reccomend people I know to use a different company.

You push pretty hard for your insurance. I’m sure it makes biz sense but it seems pushy. Website reservation took three or more tries to get past page b/c I omitted move to address initially. Restarted page and saw the ‘missing field’.

The staff members were really kind and professional. It was a very easy experience. The only bizarre snag/issue was the required verification call to a family member or employer prior to renting. I've never known such a policy. In the future, you should definitely inform customers of this when they make the initial reservation, The rental customer before me was delayed greatly by this (he could not reach his wife). Thus, my rental was delayed as well. Again, the staff was great and did everything they could to make the experience fast and easy..

Jason was professional and very helpful. He did not mess around, but quickly and efficiently filled out the paperwork and then drove the truck to the front of the building for me. I highly recommend this location.

Pick-up and drop-off location was good, staff was friendly, but was hoping for one of the larger, newer vans because they can hold more. Also, the interior rear door latch was broken, and no one mentioned it when I checked the vehicle out. There was a way to sort of jimmy it to make it work, but it was difficult to open from the inside.

The person helping me at A-Boy was excellent. I tried to check-in with your on-line system but it just kept asking me to take a photo of the back of my Drivers License and it wouldn’t accept it. I tried 3 times and it wouldn’t let me get beyond that section. Finally I backed out and the man in the store helped me out.

The driver's seat did not go back far enough in the cab which made driving uncomfortable. The brakes were a little bit touchy, this took some getting use to. The driver's seat was the main problem.

registration process was long and confusing. We got the truck 2 hours later than scheduled because of the registration. The initial email did not say that we needed to register and get a code to get the key. So the day of the move was very stressful because we did not have access to the keys for the truck. NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE!!!

U-Haul's new online check in service is abysmal. Why wasn't there any indication of the many steps there would be beforehand? I had no idea I had to have a third party verbally endorse me and my references were not available via phone at the time so I couldnt complete the booking process. Having to communicate with Olivia, your virtual agent was ridiculous as well. I finally just went in the A-Boy store where they were prompt and helpful.

Everything about the rental experience was fantastic. A-Boy was very helpful with everything and the truck was in great shape. My only complaint is that the controls inside the truck aren’t very clear. I actually stepped out to make sure the lights were on as it became dark, because the control on the dash wasn’t clear.

The check in process was a huge hassle! I arrived early, as directed, only to wait 20 minutes for a representative to tell me that the app did not support some features necessary to complete my check in. After jumping online, it took an additional THIRTY minutes to get checked in. I did not expect to be asked for my passport and have them call two contacts to verify my identity. So frustrating.

The "truck share" mobile check-in is a joke. It takes longer than actually talking to someone at the counter AND you stand around in the cold while doing it. PLUS, this last time I had to go inside to get my keys and stand in line at the counter anyway. Additionally the people at this pickup location are unfriendly and rude.

Renting a truck from A-Boy was very convenient. Location wise. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. And the rental Dodge RAM truck was very clean and drove very smooth. The only negative would be the ease of A-Boy staff to access the U-Haul POS website. For example, the credit card I used to reserve the truck online, was not accepted at the store.

The front passenger side of the truck was smashed in and the door stuck. The guy who helped us said it was the only one they had. It was raining intermittently while we loaded the truck and we didn't realize until we got to our destination that the front (attic) roof of the truck leaked like a sieve. It soaked our king size mattress, damaged a large picture and also soaked several of our packed boxes up in the attic area. The damaged boxes were soaked completely through so had to be unpacked on the truck because they fell apart. When I took the truck back, I told the person at the desk about the leaks. He apologized but didn't offer any kind of refund or accommodation for our damaged items. We paid the same rate for the damaged truck as we would have paid for a better quality truck. That will be the last time we rent a UHaul from ABoy.

First off, you should make sure customers are aware that 10 foot trucks don’t come equipped with a ramp. That’s a very reasonable assumption to make, as a customer, when looking at a moving truck of that size. Secondly, there were two employees at the location where I picked up and dropped off that were extremely condescending and rude to me. I don’t recall one of them, but the main disappointment was the assistant manager, Justin Verte (spelling?). He was zero help and not understanding or sympathetic to my situation at all. He did nothing to attempt to resolve the issue and simply walked away after a very short conversation. If that’s assistant manager behavior, I can assure you I will go to Penske for future needs.
