The truck we had reserved was nowhere to be found. We had to wait two hours for them to track down another one, which was not the size we had reserved, and we still had to pay full price.

$10 in gas for 14 miles! REALLY?!?! Those GMC trucks are crap! After already paying almost $50 to use the stupid truck and it was returned in less time than I thought I might need it for. $19.95 plus hidden fees is what your ads should say. And rental tax? What is that?! No one charges a rental tax to allow people to live in their house. The two guys running the gas station didn't communicate well and didn't explain anything that might've been helpful to know before I took the truck. Clearly, they are just there to be a cashier, hand out keys and pump gas....HARROWING and HORRIBLE experience. I will never rent a truck from U-Haul again!

The Rose City Locker Mobile picknup was awful! The UHaul sure kept giving me a message that said I had to turn on location services-I did! And still could access the mobile pickup. Fortunately the 76 station and Employee Tiffany saved the day!! She was kind, quick, and courteous!

Van was so dirty on the outside that every time I opened the door or touched the van I had to wash my hands. The van looked liked it had never been washed since it was purchased... 8,402 miles ago.

I was charged near eighty dollars when I was told it was $50. Also, the attendant was rude who picked up our car told us to clean out the van though it was spotless. No communication throughout. Bummer.

The employees were fighting over who was going to check me out when I returned the truck. The employee outside said she’d fill up the gas and the lady inside would take the paperwork. The lady inside said “well you can tell her that’s her job to check you out and she needs to do it”. I turned around to go back to the lady outside for assistance and she was running around filling three other vehicles with gas while the lady inside had no customers. It was not the best customer service I’ve received. Also the truck smelled horribly inside but got the job done.

My experience was not very good i am sorry to say. I ordered a truck with a ramp as my pick up truck does not have one. This was the only reason i ordered the truck. I was assured that the truck had a ramp. I paid for the truck and had my maintenance guy drive the truck and follow me. After getting to the site i find that the truck does not have a ramp at all. i then had to hire on the spot two guys to help and try to muscle the heavy double door refrigerator into the truck. Ended up scratching the ladies stainless steel double door refrigerator. Not good. Then came the unloading without the two guys. No Ramp. i am trying to recover from a stroke and the exertion pushed me beyond my limits. Then after having the truck for four hours the clerk says you are being charged extra for being 30 minutes late. then i find out that i used 2 gallons of gas and she says you are charged extra for us putting in the gas. i said that i can put the gas in and she said it was too late they had already done it in the computer. There was a lot of additional fees that i never heard before for a total of one hundred and some dollars. At this point i just said take the money and let me get the hell out of here. Oh yeah she did say they were sorry about the RAMP. This is the worst UHAUL experience i have ever had. i will finish the job and use my own pick up truck and use a door for a ramp. This was the worst UHaul experience we have had. Because this was with a gas station/convenience store, the gentleman working was also helping customers in the store. This slowed things down a lot. When we arrived there were 3 other UHaul customers in front of us. This same gentleman was not very fast considering how many people were waiting. Apparently they were understaffed. But on a typical day when you are moving someone, you want to get going. It took us about 40 minutes just to pick up a panel van. We were very frustrated.

This location is convenient for us, hence the "would recommend." The vehicle was totally fine mechanically but the driver side floor was covered in mud, as was the back of the van. When I noticed that at pickup, I waited in line another 15 minutes in order to ask the attendant to write on my contract that the vehicle was very dirty so I wouldn't be penalized at return. He shrugged and reluctantly agreed to write it down and sign it. I'm glad he did because when I returned it, the other attendant berated me for returning the vehicle to him so dirty. I showed him the statement I had the first attendant write for me and he reluctantly agreed that the dirt was not my fault. By the way, I actually took the time to sweep all the loose dirt out of the back, even though I didn't make it dirty... just because I thought it was a nice thing to do. Attendants need to put commentary on vehicle returns and actually walk out with the customer to inspect the vehicle.

When I went in I was told to reserve online. I did. During both checkout and check in any other costumer that came in became an interruption to interaction with the employee. They didn't stay focused on just finishing what we were doing but rather all other costumers not renting a uhaul were attended to during my renting and during my check out. I was frustrated and said never mind I don't need a receipt. Also the uhaul truck I had is dangerous because the back door goes up so far that the latch gets caught. In order to get the door back down each time I used it I had to squeeze the latch towards the door and cut my finger pretty bad trying to get the door back down. It's a liability so I'd get it fixed.

Was not informed of Debit Card Hold even though I called in advance. I was told cash. This fowled up the time of my movers due to having to wait for the bank to open at 10:00 am, when I had movers ready by 9:00 am. I was not able to start moving until 10:30 am. I paid for an hour and a half of them waiting for me. The communication is poor at this location and it should be fixed by having more training. The amount of the hold was different on the phone as what I was told in person. When I returned the vehicle, I was not able to find out what the actual charges are. The comment on the phone was that I would be refunded in cash. I was lead to think this location told me the deposit would be in cash and my refund would be in cash. I was told in person that they used to do it that way. Please inform your people, when someone calls and asks what is your method of payment, don't say cash. I was not into a vehicle when I called. I only had a reservation.
