The computer system was down; as a result, even though I had checked in online I had to wait an hour and a half to get the tailer I needed to rent--obviously I wasn't impressed or happy with U-Haul; it wasn't really the stores fault--it is U-Haul's.

I will never go through U-Haul if I don’t have to. From the moment I book my truck it was an issue. I called 5 times to figure out what all the issues were for and no one was helpful except for one woman on the phone. My pick up location was changed 4 times. The day I picked up my truck, no one could find my reservation or even search me by number or my name. I was told to pick up from a different location (my original pick up location) where I had to wait for an hour! Multiple people in line with me were dealing with similar circumstances. It was very frustrating and made my moving process much harder which was not needed.

I would only recommend this location to a friend for the convenience of where it is located. The staff seemed disgruntled that they had to be working, and though they got the job done, it wasn't with a friendly smile. When I returned the truck, I had arrived a couple minutes before 5 PM on Sunday which I know is the closing time, but employees were unwilling to help me finalize my contract after a stressful day of moving.One employee took the couple of seconds to tell me to drop my keys and they'll complete everything in the morning, which I did. When I got my receipt however, I noticed that I had received a charge for 2.6 gallons of gas which I feel is unjust. I had put in $10 dollars worth of gas and the gauge was awfully close to what I had picked up the truck with earlier in the day. Because your employees weren't willing to help me, I couldn't argue that charge, and resulted in getting billed $12.35 for fuel wasn't warranted.

They are frequently so busy there is an extended wait time. Too long. But all employees are friendly and helpful. I use this location frequently.

The truck had not been swept out, had a few pieces of garbage and a dirty sock left in it. It was also completely boxed in by two other trucks at my scheduled pick up time, so I had to wait an hour for the store to open to actually get the truck, even though I'd checked in online. Would NEVER recommend.

Was not given any instructions. Got home to find there was not a dolly or blankets that I had ordered. I had to meet movers at my home, when I called the store to see what I could do, I was told I was out of luck and there was nothing they could do. They said it would be reflected on my invoice that I didn't receive them. It was not.

I actually went to the Oddie blvd location first and they turned me down in two seconds with no manners i was disappointed at uhaul because of the bad customer service at that location but decided to give this one a chance and the personnel was much nicer and professional than Oddie blvd so now i’m happy

first my pick up time was at 6am and i couldnt get app to do my check in so spent 40 minutes on phone getting that part done the girls on the phone were excellent....second we inspected truck it had not been washed nor cleaned and when we opened the back of truck there was still furniture in it from a previous mover so now its 15 minute till 7 am and employees start showing up for work at the office we showed a cpuple employees we showed a couple of emploees the furniture left in truck and asked them to remove it they said ok give them a few 15 minutes later still no guys to unload the furniture out of truck they completely ignored me at 705 am i walked into store and had to remind them i was still waiting for someone to remove furniture from the truck i ordered they finally came and removed furniture. but get this one of their mail employees was still dressing himself right in front of me he put his belt on and zipped his pants 2 feet from my face as he was up on truck bed. good thing he was wearing underwear if you know what i mean. i immediately walked away disgusted. finally got on the road at 720 am. so needless to say my experience with uhal has not been a good one so far. I did file a formal complaint. and i would not recommend renting a uhal truck from their location on virginia street in reno nv..... horrible service.....guaranteed ready my butt......

All said, great staff, management & equipment. Good people. But corporate and those responsible for the website should pay attention! I moved into a new house July 1 – 7th, moving stuff from two locations. I rented a 10' box truck, local rental, for five days. And another day with a 1-day trailer rental. I've been a U-Haul customer for thirty years. My online truck reservation was a disaster. I was confirmed for service at the address above. On arrival I was told there was no truck here for me, as my reservation was at another S. Virginia street location 4 miles down the road. I was insistent they fix the situation here, and was told they were sorry but I had to go to the other store for my truck. I emphatically stated that was not acceptable, and to fix it. Again I was told they were sorry but there was nothing to do. I requested to speak to the manager, and he pointed to a guy at the next counter who was on the phone. I repeated this was unacceptable and they need to fix it. I was on my bicycle. I suggested the other location bring the truck here. No! I suggested they take me to the other location. No! I suggested they give me one of the ten trucks on the lot. No! I got a little hot at this point. No swearing or anything, but straight talk all the same. And stating again, as I had planned ahead, and like many others, I work a lot, and had limited time to make this move; as such I made this reservation two weeks in advance to make sure I had what I needed when I needed it. At this point the representative asked the manager if he could rent me one of the ones on the lot, the manager said to verify it was not reserved for that day, and they did, and filled out a new reservation, and got me in that truck. I needed this truck to sit in my driveway for four days, so I could move belongings into it after work each day, and then drive a total of 11 miles, to move my stuff into my house.There was some tension throughout all of this. Your folk’s who’s names I did not get at the time, fixed what should never have happened in the first place. FYI I know IT work, web design, web management, reservations, ecommerce, etc. Whatever errors occurred in my recent U-Haul experience is fully preventable. Your onsite people saved the day, and my opinion in general. I realize each dealership is independently owned. But if you carry the U-haul brand you are U-Haul. Period! To consumers there is no difference. I commend the young desk clerk who handled our situation. He was young, appeared new to his job, and although outwardly nervous, he remained professional as he was pushed by an upset customer, while managing the situation, but most importantly, he dealt with it and fixed the situation with regard and consideration. Thank you. On Sunday July 7th, I arrived at the above U-Haul location at 8:30 AM for my 9:00AM reservation. When I arrived to pick up the trailer, I provided my License, only to realize it had been stamped VOID! I had just completed an address

The gentleman (Kaleo(?) I think was his last name) who worked the desk was nice and helpful, but I thought it was unprofessional and concerning that he used his phone to take my ID photo instead of sending me the text. I did eventually receive the text to do so, but it was after we had completed the forms. Overall the experience was fine. The two people working outside when we returned the equipment were great and very professional.

This was the worst experience I have ever had with Uhaul. I have rented many of trucks before. I was given a 10 foot truck to move a 2 bedroom Apartment. I reserved a bigger truck ahead of time and when I got to the store they said that they had to change and give me a smaller truck. Sorry but no 15" foot truck left. I had to make multiple trips. I was charged extra for mileage. I don't think that it was right. Very unhappy, unsatisfied costumer.

The wrong mileage and fuel was documented so we had to waste time with another representative going out to reread mileage and fuel. Then we were told everything was good and we did not owe any extra charges. We had to request a close-out receipt; it was not automatically offered.

The trailer was clean, but there were furniture pads and a dolly in it that were left from the previous rental. Had we not opened the back before leaving the location, we would have had to go out of our way to return them, before we could load. The location was understaffed. We waited in a line for nearly 30 minutes. The guy that hooked up our trailer, did a very good job. I received a text message the day before we were scheduled to pick up to tell me that our rental had been moved to another time, without the option to adjust the location in order to get the trailer when we needed it. I had to call U-Haul in order to make that happen and I was on hold for about 30 minutes.

Have a better marking for visitor/customer parking for vehicles coming in from Virginia Street so that one does not need to drive around the property and risk damage to employees and equipment :)
