Everything was great, but you guys really need faster computers. Every time I call U-Haul they apologize to me for the slow computers.

My first experience with this location was when we scheduled a truck that they confirmed over the phone was there and when we got there they didn't have the truck. We ended up having to use a van which worked but added complication to the move. The second experience was much better, the 15 foot truck I ordered was there and everything went smooth.

What a difference between this location and on Oddie OMG! I will always rent from the Virginia location because they were professional, polite and made my life a whole lot easier. All I came in contact with were amazing !

Need more workers!! It takes a long time to return equipment because there is only one person outside working. There were lots of grumpy customers waiting around. The workers were friendly and helpful, but really swamped.

The brake son this trailer didn't work as good as previous trailers I've rented, they weren't as smooth when engaging.

I ordered a 17' truck and it was guaranteed until 2 days before pickup. I was notified at that time that the previous renter had extended and my truck would not be available. I told them I would take a 15' instead, but asked if I could be compensated with free miles for taking the smaller truck. They said they do not have authority to provide free mileage. The location did make up for it in other ways, but it seems like some free mileage is a reasonable request, and the customer service reps should have authority to provide that.

Used mobile pickup - went well until the van I was supposed to pick up wasn't "available." Had to wait an extra 30 minutes for them to find another van, took a long time because of computer issues.

When we came in the system was down, but that is not the fault of the team... What could be improved is how it was handled. The people inside were flustered and the customers wern't nice either, it was just a bad vibe all around, but the manager could have been more present and showed empathy to the customers and supported the guy at the desk better.

Customer service at this location is much better than the Oddie store in Sparks Nevada but it coukd still be improved. Selection and ease of picking up and droppiroff is better as well.

Having a clean trailer would be nice. There was about an inch of dirt and rocks in the one I rented. Customer service is horrible at this location as well. The girl with the black and purple hair, didn't greet me when I drove up to drop off the trailer. Once she unhooked the trailer, all she said to me was I was good to go. First of all, I couldn't leave because there were Uhaul trucks blocking any exit. She also did not let me know that my receipt was going to be emailed. I will completely avoid renting from this location in the future!!!! Not worth the money or disrespect!

My reservation that was made over a week in advance was changed on me last minute to a pick up time 6 hours later than my original reservation. I soent 40 minutes on the phone 3 hours before I was scheduled to pick up the truck with no more than 4 of those minutes spent actually speaking to someone. I got the truck thankfully and didn't have to cancel my entire move, but I had to go to a location further away. I was told I'd be comped for the mileage and wasn't. I still paid for tbe extra distance even though it was uhaul's fault. I also noticed at the time of the uhaul pickup the worker took a photo of my license for uhaul which is fine but she used her personal cell phone. I found that wildly inappropriate for reasons I'm sure I don't need to elaborate on. This experience may very well be limited to the Reno area because quite honestly this type of poor customer service and an inability to perform on a professional level is fairly commonplace. Whether it's a chain restuarant or a uhaul company it's always a disappointment. I was pretty shocked though to have this all happen with an international company. Did the people who regulate this type of stuff just forget that they have locations in Reno? Because someone needs to help them get it together. 3 locations in Reno yet the customer has to jump through hoops to make sure they have their moving truck that was booked 9 days in advance... and then they pay extra for it. Something definitely isn't right here. Next time I'll call someone else.

I was supposed to rent from a different location but they didn’t have my truck for my reservation, despite the fact that there were several trucks on the lot. Apparently those were for other customers so I had to drive to another store to get my truck. The people who were supposed to drop my truck off that morning called to say they needed it until noon. If uhaul would have called me then to say your reservation is late, I would have been fine with that, but no notification was given. The store where I picked up the truck was extremely slow, took me 40 minutes to get my truck, despite being told it would be expedited by the general manager at my first location. Then the truck was in bad shape, the seats were falling apart, the heater would not turn off, and the cargo door would barely go up and down. The truck should be retired. I will go out of my way next time to avoid using Uhaul.
