I filled the gas tank to exactly where the line on my uhaul papers indicated. However, I was charged 3 gallons of gas because I parked the uhaul on a hill which caused the gas cage to appear lower than it was. Next time I will park it up hill so the tank looks fuller than it actually is. Charged an extra $15 because of how I parked the uhaul. I even have photos of the gas gauge after I put the gas in.
