I had a 24 hour rental, and my return time was for 7am. I returned my rental at 6:53a.m. but the storagemax facility did not open until 8:30a.m. so I left the keys in the 24hour drop box. I was just charged an additional $60 for an extra day of rental, and the receipt that was emailed to me stated that I did not return the uhual until 8:52a.m. which is a complete lie! I demand that thus charge is refunded to me, and I will expect the supervisor to view video surveillance to prove that I returned my rental prior to 7a.m. Why is uhaul constantly trying to scam people out of money????DAVID M.

The people were friendly, and the location was easy to get to. However our truck (the only vehicle available) reeked of cigarette smoke, and not only the brake light but the battery light as well kept randomly going off throughout our move. Was definitely concerning seeing and hearing that the brake system may have an issue.Haley F.

My experience was excellent. Bill Hart went above and beyond my expectations. I had originally reserved a 10' truck; but since there were none available, I was upgraded to a 12 or 15' truck. It had brand new tires and a ramp into the box that I needed to be able to load my cargo which was a motorcycle. My original request and reserved truck was going to be a significant challenge for me to load my bike. With the upgrade to the larger truck; my problem was solved. I was also able to get my truck before my original scheduled time of noon; and I believe it was around 10:30,so again I was very grateful for the assistance from Bill on my time for getting my truck. My hotel check out time was 11:30; so I was risking having to be charged for another day if I didn't check out of my hotel before my originally scheduled noon pickup time. And I had originally been incorrectly assuming that my reservation was at the location in Georgetown; and I only realized that when I was at the location and the manager told me my reservation was not at his location. I then looked again at my email and it obviously was for the location of StorageMax. I took a cab to the correct location. And I was quite stressed by the time I arrived at the correct location. My time was beginning to get short. Then Bill informed me of my upgrade and I was very relieved and very happy that the new truck was going to have a Ramp for loading. He also had the necessary tie down straps to secure my bike to the wall of the truck. When I arrived at Bill Hart's StorageMax location I was quite frazzled and when I left I was happy and relieved and calmed down by the excellent service and the upgrade of my original reservation and the great service that Bill provided. My truck ran flawlessly and it was quite speedy for a U-haul truck. Ahem. My cargo made the trip unscathed and was very securely attached to the side wall of the truck box with the tie down strap I purchased from Bill. I don't think my experience could have been any better. Bill did a great job of making my experience better than I could have imagined.DAVID EUGENE W.
The only complications with this site are out of your control. There is major construction being done on the highway and frontage in front of this place. As a result it is extremely difficult to park as well as get in and out of this place. The staff here makes it as easy as possible by bringing the equipment to the front and very edge of the property for you so there is minimal chance of damage and risk with navigating this tight property. They were really helpful and friendly the entire time, including the phone call confirming my appointment as well as getting me in and out 10 minutes before they closed on a Saturday. I am extremely satisfied with the personnel at this location..Chris K.
