U-haul check in was late, provided wrong truck so I had to drive uhaul back to location and pay for mileage. Poor service

Everything went well customer service was great. The truck was clean, however, the truck had a check engine light on which worried me, luckily nothing happened but that's definitely not the thing you wanna see when you rent a truck.
JASMIN CThis location was fine, though the service rep didn't tell me to check in on my phone when I got in the truck. The gas level was wrong, so that was frustrating. My biggest issue was the fact that I reserved this at a different location, Uhaul Lemon Grove, over a week before my date and last minute I was moved. Also I asked for a discount because of the inconvenience and was denied by both customer support and the customer support manager. I know you could have given a discount, because if I had booked the reservation a day later, it would have been significantly cheaper according to your website. I've used Uhaul many times in the past, but as a result of this bad customer experience, the next time I need a truck I'm going to rent from Budget. You could have given me a $50 reservation guarantee discount, instead you lost a customer and I tied up your customer support team for at least an hour complaining about this issue. I suggest you give you customer support team, especially the managers, more authority to offer discounts if a client is upset. Otherwise you lose business like you've lost mine.

Sandra WThe staff didn't call to confirm my reservation until I was driving to pick up the truck. They failed to inform me my requested dolly was available as well. Completely defeated the purpose of booking a truck ahead of time, as I had to go to another location. Very poor planning on their part.
