To whom this may concern, My name is Naomi Kumasi-Nakuru and I wanted to inform you of my UHaul experience. I picked up my rental at 12pm 06/14/2021 from the Candlestick location in San Francisco (Reservation number 27808332). When picking up the vehicle I was asked to complete an equipment verification to ensure that everything was intact. After completing the inspection, from what we could see the vehicle appeared to have no discrepancies. I was able to safely drive the vehicle to my home in South San Francisco so that we could load the truck and prepare for our move. At 4pm, after fully loading the truck, I made sure to do another walk around and luckily I discovered that the driver's side rear outer tire was flat. I initially called roadside assistance, but after being on hold for 65 mins with no response from a rep I decided to return to the renting location in hopes of getting this issue resolved. At 5pm we were finally helped by a customer service agent, and she was able to connect us with roadside assistance (Reference Number 2125316). Roadside assistance arrived at 7:30pm and I made sure to ask if he could inspect all the tires to ensure there were no other problems. The mechanic brought to my attention that not only the outside tire was leaking, but the inside tire was also severely damaged. The tire looks to be ripped, torn and unsuitable for transportation. I want to emphasize the severity and danger of this situation. Uhaul has placed me, my son, and my husband in danger. This could have resulted into a fatal accident, if I didn't decide to do another walk around inspection. These vehicles should be audited and safely tested every time before fulfilling a customer's reservation. Families are putting their trust in your organization to deliver quality self-moving services in the most safest way possible. One of Uhaul's core value's is â€œImproving human lives.â€ not â€œEndangering human livesâ€. I can't stress enough on how much of an inconvenience this has been and how the condition of the vehicle we received was unacceptable. I truly hope that this never happens to anyone else. Although the mechanic was able to fix the tires, if this was not caught in time many people could have gotten hurt. I hope that this message is treated with the up most urgency. The center console for the truck was pretty dirty, to the point where I did not want to use it. The Sales Associate forgot to give me the trailer slip to give to Alberto, so by the time I went back, got the sales slip and have it to Alberto the vehicle check and inspection feature had expired/times out. I was instructed to just take good photos on my phone and that would be fine. I will say, however, Alberto and Jose were the NICEST guys to work with. Alberto explained how everything worked and gave me great advice. He was super helpful and could not have done a better job! I would definitely recommend this location based on Alberto's service alone. 10 out of 10!PETER W.

I've had bad experience in the past( years ago) so I tried budget instead. I reserved a 26 ft truck with them and the day before the move they called and said they didn't have one and couldn't find one for me. I called directly to this u-haul in San Francisco and spoke with Sara. She got me a truck on a Friday afternoon in the summer time. When I got there another employee helped me. He was supper professional, quick, and helped me with everything I needed. They saved our move!ANTHONY M.

I had several self-caused issues (e.g. my mother's name was on the storage unit and she was in Texas, I lost the lock to the unit, and I needed a pallet jack), and I am so pleased with the staff here - Don, the manager, and Debbie were especially helpful. U-haul should provide locking systems for all their trailer. You tend to have to disconnect from trailers to run errands in towns where you do stopovers.WILLIAM S.

I ordered a dolly and it wasn't in my truck upon pickup I had to drive back 6 miles to retrieve the dollyIris P.
I chose moving help via your recommendations. I have been charged extra monies by Moving help for services not received. I was charged $275.00 and $332.00 and $330. One group confirmed today but did not show up. Another group never responding to my chosing them to load/unload. The group Julius's 5 came today and helped us. I will be instructing my bank NOT to pay you all that money for a two hour move!!!Theresa B.
