The truck was very dirty on the inside, as well as a homeless man peed on the truck while I was signing the paperwork. The part that upsets me the most is that I was overcharged on the mileage for the rental and can’t get a response from anyone for a reimbursement

This location cancelled my order after sending me to another location, where another rental was not made available. After speaking with U-Haul directly, the initial rental was again available. I was not made aware of this change at any point up until the time of the reservation. I was not issued a reservation guarantee payment however, as their faq suggests: "Should U-Haul, through its fault, fail to contact customer the day prior and be unable to meet preferred time, place or size, then the $50 reservation guarantee will be paid and U-Haul will still attempt to fill the reservation." I think the most unsettling part was being charged an extra $14 for SafeMove, something I did not sign up for. I've asked to have it taken off, but it seems that request has fallen on deaf ears. My move was last week but I still have yet to hear back from this location. Due to the hassle this has caused, i don't foresee myself using this location in the future.

Office was under repair, which was a little confusing. However, the representative who worked with us was very friendly and explained everything and helped us out very well despite the situation!

difficult to find with no real signage. The trucks are kept on a different lot. They are not a focused UHaul center and have other businesses which they clearly prioritize over UHaul.

The instructions about dropping the key did not correspond to what I saw on the app by following the instructions precisely. My contract was NOT displayed on the app. I WAS CHARGED TWICE in a surprising way, which left my account -70 USD negative when I needed the money to work and put gas, etc -- I only get paid on Tuesdays. I plan my finances precisely, just graduated, and there's no room for these kind of surprises. I will NEVER recommend this store. You simply CANNOT DO THIS to clients. They have their finances and money and needs, you CANNOT go charging them in error twice, after an already overpriced service.

It's a little odd that you have to drive to another facility to obtain your van.

The issue is that the office where you rent the vehicle is 5 or 6 blocks from where you pick up the vehicle. This is extremely inconvenient when you have no ride to or from the pickup point. Otherwise my rental was clean, new, ran well, did everything I needed it to.

The milleage and gas odometer was not accurate and i had to fill up the tank also milleage was avout 4 miles off what was on paper

I had to go to this location instead of wireless palace because wireless palace’s lot was full. It’s unacceptable that I had to drive there to find that out - U-Haul should send an alert as soon as a chosen drop-off location is filled. Or, even better, U-Haul should set reservations in stone, and not allow any lots to be overbooked.

Make it clear what all the charges are and what the deadlines are I recieved what was labeled as a reliable estimate and when I returned the keys the bill jumped by 40%

2 problems. The trucks are kept half a mile from the actual rental office. So I ended up paying for an extra mile from what I expeted to pay. Also every other location charges .89 cents per mile on sundays but here they charge .99 cents . I don’t know if they can do that but they did.

I would advise to double check your booking as U Haul automatically change your preferred location and time despite the selections made upon check out. This U Haul customer service over the telephone was especially rude and unaccommodating. Luckily for U Haul, the man at this location was a gent to deal with and he was very flexible.

The adjacent smog technician advised me to return the key to a different U-Haul location as the original was closed. I drove to the 10 & Lincoln to find that he was mistaken. Please advise the manager to instruct the smog people not to give advice about which they are ignorant or just to say to drop-off the key in the box. It was not the manager's fault. Otherwise the experience was fine.

Attendant was 15 minutes late (not a major problem except when you are moving and time is critical). My reservation email indicated I had signed up for a 15' truck. The attendant informed me that his records indicated a 10' truck. I offered to show him my email and he just dismissed it saying, "you can call the main office". Since I was already running late, I took the 10 footer. The location was weird - I checked in at the office location and then had to drive to a lot several blocks away, look for my truck and arrange for someone to drive my car back. Parking was offered at this lot but it was not secure and I did not feel comfortable leaving my vehicle there unattended for 12+hrs. Returning the key at the key drop was also an adventure as the mechanic shop where the office is located chains off the parking lot area at night. I had to pull over on the side of the road, put my flashers on and run to the key drop - moving fast enough to ensure I did not get a ticket or disrupt traffic.

Difficult because the trucks are not on the same lot as the office facility. Hours of operation are not always convenient. Basically the services was above average. I will return again and I will refer customers.
