I reserved the trailer online and completed the order by putting in my credit card number. The total owing showed an amount without insurance coverage, which is what I chose. When I went to pick up the trailer, the clerk asked if I wanted additional insurance coverage beyond the “basic”. I said no, I didn’t need it. I did not notice that my online order was changed to include the basic coverage. When I got home, my wife called and asked to have that amount removed from our credit card. The clerk said no, he could not do that. He said that if my husband had stated “I have other insurance coverage”, he would not have added it. It seems deceptive to charge us for something we did not want.
CHRIS WI was suppose to pick up equipment in Bellingham Wa but was rerouted to this location 50 miles away. The location in Bellingham had the equipment, they just didn’t want to give it up for one way rental. I know this because I went to Bellingham location for assistance loading car on tow dolly. Which was done incorrectly and I almost lost the car. Left wheel was completely untethered and chains were attached not crisscrossed.
ROBIN CAllow earlier pickup. 10:00 is kinda late when you’re packing & traveling same day.
