The reservation got Canceled!!!! By whom? Why? Not very good service or confidence builder. The local staff was able to pull up the original reservation and process it correctly. Fortunately the equipment was still there. If the equipment that I had reserved, WITH a credit card, had been rented out from under me, things would not have gone well for Uhaul.FREDERICK B.

The truck I rented was a 26 footer. It desperately needs a front end alignment because the steering wheel isn't straight, and it was a chore to drive due to slack in the steering system. At 45 mph it shakes violently. Uhaul should do a better job of maintaining their fleet. Cab was clean.SEAN C.

I've rented several Uhauls in my life, and this was the oldest truck yet, with over 100k miles on it. When hauling a full load around, I would have felt better in a truck with lower mileage. Also, I have an issue with the way you handle the dolly charges. I rented an appliance dolly. I did not need a regular dolly. I did not know a regular dolly would be in the truck, and have a plastic zip tie that when broken would lead to a charge. I accidentally knocked the dolly with something I was putting in the truck and the tie broke. I explained this to the person at the Uhaul place when I returned the truck. She said unfortunately we have to charge you if the tie is broken. I let her know I rented the other dolly for a reason, I did not want the other dolly, and that I was aware of the tie, and had broken in by accident. Still got charged for it. That is unacceptable. First, don't have a piece of equipment in the truck I didn't ask for, and don't have it in place with a flimsy tie that can break easily when knocked into. This seems like a racket to me. I am sure Uhaul makes a decent amount of extra money simply by charging for the dolly that got accidently knocked, If the dolly had not been there to get knocked into - I would not have broken the tie! Do not put something there that can cause this scenario, and then charge me for it!Michael M.
