The truck was due back on Sunday, 07/26/2020. I returned it at approximately 2:30 PM on Saturday, 07/25/2020. The person took my contract document and said I would receive an email. When I did not receive by Sunday I called UHaul 800 number and was advised the truck had not been checked in. I was told the business, Kaz Automotive, would be contacted on Monday to get the truck checked in. Did not hear from Kaz on Monday so I went there on Tuesday, 07/27/2020 and was advised that the truck had not been checked in by any one at the business. They did so on Tuesday and an email was received. Very lackadaisical attitude by personnel and I'm upset that I had to go back to the business to get what was supposed to be done on Saturday. I have always used UHaul and had great results. I am very disappointed with this rental.
You are doing a great job. It was tempting when I was offered a discount for a drop-off further from my home. When I chose not to avail myself of that site, you were very accepting of my decision.

I was charged for 2 extra days when truck was returned 2 days early. They did not take time to check in truck the day it was returned.
Your locations are great, but you're charging me $4 for mileage and I returned the truck with too much gas, can I expect your $4 a gallon cost for a refund? Didnt think so. Way to penny pinch, that $4 cost you my business for life.
Truck was filthy and dusty. Check out pick up took a long time not friendly. Furniture pads were not existing missing no apologies.

Set up the reservation on line. It was a very easy process and expedited the transaction at the pick-up location.
The drop was not difficult.
Equipment was not ready for pickup at confirmation of 0700, arrived to the location to use 24/7 pickup and was notified by app I would have to wait until store opened and come back then. When I returned 2 hours later, I was told to wait for aprox 20 mins while they checked equipment back in. Don't confirm a pickup time with a customer if said equipment isn't actually available, seems like a pretty simple concept to me......
Even though Kz is fantastic, the uhaul website is one of the worst ever. Took 20 minutes to get the truck because the site was so bad. Also, lower your rates to match Budget which is MUCH cheaper and just as good. Only got uhaul because it's close to my house, otherwise I would have never used it.
You tripled booked our truck. We ended up with a van causing us to have to take multiple trips. The multiple trips was especially inconvenient when it was raining. I have had this to other friends as well but never thought the overbooking would happen to us. Will not be using uhual again you've lost a customer for life.

I was making a 4 hour move to Stafford, VA. With traffic and unloading the uhaul I told them I would have to drop it off after hours. I parked the uhaul with the rest of the trucks and put the keys along w my receipt from pick up location in the drop box. A couple days later I got a phone call asking when I would be dropping off my uhaul. I called back and the lady on the phone immediately started accusing me of stealing the uhaul. Ae ended up arguing for about 10 minutes on the phone. I had explained that I was new to the area and did not know the exact route or highway the location was off of. I told her the exact time and address I dropped it off and exactly where on the building the drop box for key was located. She continued to insist I stole the uhaul and that she would be pressing charges. She was easily the nastiest person I have ever had to deal with in customer service. I'm guessing she found the uhaul that I "stole" because she never called back. I would not recommend this location in a million years.
Reservation was for a location a mile from my place, got a call I had to go to Stafford (extra miles I had to drive and pay for and gas I had to pay for and time I had to take out of a limited move time for the help I had). Reservation was supposed to include a dolly... nope.... (so I promised my help a dolly and it resulted in a lot of extra effort which is a bunch of crap it was over 90 degrees) What I got was a truck with the last persons contract in there so I have it and all there personal information in it, a low tire they already knew about but didn't say anything about it. When I went back in and asked for them to fill it they wouldn't and told me to go to a gas station. They wouldn't even hand me the damn hose to do it myself so they technically were not servicing the vehicle they said they weren't allowed... It's an auto body shop I know there is a damn air hose there. So- you rent out vehicles not ready to be rented. So I drove to a gas station and the pump only goes to 70 and the truck panel says 80...so... That's on you if there is damage or a leak. If it was a large leak and it went flat while I was using it what was I supposed to do? Thankfully I got it all done and wasn't on the side of the road. There were also moving blankets left in it I didn't rent or use but had to be responsible for. The guy at the desk was nice and apologetic for not helping me, I'd have preferred a properly maintain vehicle I didn't have to stress about but thanks for saying sorry atleast. You were the upside dude- rock on with your bad self. U-haul you did a fantastic job of making an already stressful situation worse... kudos to you
My whole experience was horrible. I made my reservation for 6:30pm with the 24 hour app. There was no communication between the U-Haul pickup site and U-Haul corporate. The pick up location was closed when I went to pick up the truck. There were trucks and a lock box but no code to open the lock box. When I called the "after hours" person who was local he explained that my reservation has been cancelled. He promised me an extra day with the truck and a $50 refund but for some reason there was no record of the conversation other than the $50 refund, which I got. My timetable was completely messed up for my move and I had to wait another day to get my truck. I had to work 12 hours straight to get my move done and when I called after 9pm the people that could extend my reservation we're not in the office. The customer service representative that I spoke with was not apologetic in the slightest and was like, "I don't know what you want me to do about it." I had to get up very early to get my truck back to the return place. I would sum up my complaints to say poor communication and customer service. The next time I use a truck rental service, it will be Budget or Penske. They may be more expensive but it's worth paying more to get what was actually promised.
