First trailer they hooked up to my truck had a flat tire. He said, "you can just put air in it". I asked how long it had been sitting there and he said it was dropped off the day prior. It obviously had a significant leak. He then told me to meet him down the street where there was a trailer hooked to a cube van. The brakes on that trailer were not working at all. I took a chance and gave myself lots of room to stop in traffic. My overall experience with uhaul was absolutely terrible. They canceled/modified my reservation twice in one week. I missed my ferry reservation to the island. I was charged $20 extra because I was not allowed to drop the trailer in my town of Courtenay. They made me drive over an hour to drop it in Nanaimo and I was 15 minutes late. Never using uhaul ever again.

PETER MNice people, small location, disorganized lot and tight parking. Very friendly staff
Brad CI got the truck with half a tank of gas and then I was charged $71 for gas because I brought back with half a tank. Thankfully I took a picture of the kilometres before I drove the truck and I was reimbursed the $71.
Rem DVery limited space, crowded and no clear indication where to drop the trailer. Could not move trailer through available space and had to unhitch and re hitch solo to position the trailer in a suitable space. No personnel on site, vague communication and no support. Confusing and unclear how the drop of was supposed to work. More clarity about where to park, how to do the return and clearly marked parking spaces would improve this.
