Truck had >75K miles and is in need of new shock absorbers! First 2 blocks was worse than a buckboard carriage at full gallop and I didn't get over 20 mph. Granted that was empty, but loaded wasn't much better. To sum it up, Elvis Pressley says it all with "I'm all shook up' after driving this unit.

Robert VThis U-Haul location operates out of a convenience store with only one employee on duty at any given time, which made both pickup and return unnecessarily frustrating. I had to stand around waiting while the employee assisted every other customer buying snacks before finally getting to me—only when the store got quiet. When I returned the truck, the original parking spot was taken by a store customer, so I parked it in the nearest open space. Despite the return process being complete, the employee became demanding and insisted I move the truck back to the original spot. At that point, our transaction was over, and I declined. Frankly, I felt like my presence—and my business—was more of a hassle than anything else. On top of that, while the truck was clean, it ran like it hadn’t been properly maintained. The engine sputtered during acceleration, and it guzzled fuel at a rate that’s hard to believe—under 5 miles per gallon for a 10-foot truck? Overall, a disappointing experience I won’t be repeating.
John PFor being a small convenience store, this location was fairly easy to pick up and return my rental from. You do have to wait in line with customers who are buying soda and chips etc... and the clerk stopped helping me to check out a lady and her kid but overall, it was without too much hassle.
