Though it obviously was not the location's fault, It was very important that we have the appliance dolly I had ordered. Unfortunately, there was not an appliance dolly in the truck.

The pickup location was convenient and wide open making it simple to maneuver through the parking lot. My issue was wit the way pick up is handled. I wasn't aware of the amount of time it takes just to receive approval. It took 5 minutes before anyone picked up On the online chat and I was in a time crunch. The seatbelt was so sharp it left a red line on my neck after it scrapped my while driving. 2 days later and I still have that line on my neck, had I been in an accident that could have definitely cut way deeper than it did. The uhaul needs new seatbelts for serious safety reasons! Immediately.
The gas tank was lower than it originally said and I had to pay a gas fee...
Took a hour and a half to finally get the keys to the rental stood for the whole time at the shell location on Mclintock n Elliot then upon returning the wheels locked I was unable to move the vehicle from the gas pump sat in the heat for two hours until the tow truck arrived as many times as I have rented from Uhaul I have never had an experience like this before I sure hope I was compensated for the rental after waiting in the heat I wanted to go to the emergency room for heat related issues I hope this never happens to another customer ever again
I used mobile check in, but the van number was not on the lot. Apparently it was checked in or rented out incorrectly. It took us an hour and 20 mins to get out of there. The clerk had too much to do, she had to tend to the store and us. Plus the card was not working on their system. It was a cluster of issues. What shouldve been a 5 min check in turned out to make us lose time in moving because of the curfew and had to extend another day.
On Friday I reserved online and opted for the mobile checkin process as the selected U-Haul location didn't open early enough according to the website. I received a call an hour or so after I reserved and they indicated that I could not in fact use the mobile checkin process as that location doesn't have it but they would be open at 5 AM and I was supposed to pick up at 6. That was all fine with me no issue with any of that. Problem was when I showed up at 5:55 the shell/uhaul was closed. I started to call the location and no answer of course. 6:05 the shell/uhaul employee showed and told me they dint open until 6. Obviously I'm annoyed by the miscommunication and lack of clarity in pickup process at this point. Then the clerk tells me tht the dolly is not available as Indicated in my request. Kind of an issue because I needed a dolly. So his perspective he just removed the $7 charge. My perspective is now me and my GF have to struggle with the large items I needed the dolly for. Then I ask him if the 5 hour clock starts when I take it versus the 6AM time I scheduled. He said yes but the paper still said 11AM drop off and didn't account for the time he was late to work and checking out my vehicle to me. As a customer we want what is explained. I appreciated the call to clarify the process and the lady on the phone was very nice. The problem is what she said was not true. Honestly I should've went to Penske. They at least offer a veteran discount and haven't caused me issues and in the past. Last time I use uhaul.
The interior and exterior of the vehicle were not as clean as the pictures during the inspection. There was a significant amount of damage to the vehicle that I needed to record prior to my trip. I would have appreciated a UHAUL representative to go over the vehicle with me and assure that the damage will be recorded as taking place prior to my involvement. The attendant inside the shell station was courteous and helpful.

When I tried to pick up the truck, there was no lockbox on the rear of the truck as the app said. I went inside the Shell gas station and ask the attendant if he could help. He said they had nothing to do with the trucks. I went outside and called UHaul, the first time I was left on hold for 15 minutes, I hung up called back and was left on hold another 10 minutes. During this time I had gone into the gas station a couple of times, once to use the restroom, and again to buy a drink. My phone was on speaker, the gas station attendant could hear the UHaul message and knew I was trying to reach you. Finally, I get a lady with some knowledge, she said the key was in the gas station, while she was on the phone, on speaker she could hear me questioning the rude, unhelpful attendant. She couldn't believe his tone and ask to speak to him, he asked if I had paid for the truck, she said yes. He ask her again as if she did not know what she was talking about, when she confirmed the second time that I had infact paid for the truck, he spun around and opened the cabinet where the keys were stored, brought them to the counter and ask which one? Truck #1929's key was right there. It took me well over an hour to get the truck. What is more troubling to me, is why the attendant treated me like that, unwilling to help or even be cordial. I'm sure they have cameras and can verify all that happened. No one deserves to be treated so un-significantly. I keep wondering if he was the owner/manager of that station. I'm also wondering about your customer service dept., why was I on hold forever before I got to someone who could start the resolution of my problem? I'll check with Budget Trucks or some other truck rental service before you. Your customer service reps are horrible and that truck storage site is horrible too!
Got a truck and only drove it a few miles and returned it a day early to see that i was charged 135.00 for a 10 foot truck that was only driven 5 to 10 miles
The lady was very rude to me. I had paid for a 24 hour rental, rented out at 7pm the day before, and without telling me, she set a return time of 8am the next day, which is not even 13 hours. She then wanted to charge me a late fee for a return time she never even told me about. When I brought this up she became very rude and aggressive, having the worst attitude I have ever dealt with with customer service. I do not suggest this lady who worked with me should be taking U-haul orders.

Super friendly. Helped with what I needed. I would totally use this location again. Just be patient because there is usually only one person working the entire gas station and uhaul at one time.
I've moved a ton in my life and this was the absolute worst experience of my life. The person that helped me had no idea what to do in order to give me the uhaul and it took an hour to finally get it and leave!
Staff was texting during transaction, actually couldn't give a damn if I was renting the vehicle or not. Vehicle was dirty. I would drop this location as a pickup/dropoff spot. I wont go back.

Night mare from Hell. This location should not be allowed to represent Uhaul. Woman there has no clue what she is doing and she doesn't care either. My relationship with Uhaul is OVER. This was a 2nd location booked. 1st one didn't have truck that was booked. Avoid Uhaul. They do not have customer service or service. Requested supervisor call me yesterday and today. Have not heard from one person

Truck share process did not work as advertised. Had to go into gas station to get help. Employee there had no idea how to use rental truck system. Ended up cancelling and renting elsewhere.
The truck cab was dirty and had food in the cup holders and on the floor. They should clean them out or charge the person who left it dirty.
There was only one cashier, and he kept leaving to help anyone who came in the gas station. I get it, but have two employees working if you are going to ensure both markets get served. Also, the truck didn't come with the equipment I ordered. Worst haul experience I've ever had.
