I suggest calling and verifying any changes that you make. When I discussed the amount of things that I had to move with the representative she recommended a cargo van. So that's what I reserved. Then I drove by the lot and saw the size and realized that in no way, shape or form would it work. Therefore, I called and upgraded to a 10 ft van (truck). But the morning that I arrived to pick it up I was told that they didn't have a 10ft and that they had a cargo van reserved for me. I had left my reservation info at home. I told the man that I thought that he should give me the next bigger van (15ft) at the same price. I could tell that he didn't want to do it but after further research he found my infi to change my reservation. So he gave me the 15ft at the 10ft price. I was very grateful. Then I went to move. I was so surprised to see that I actually needed the 15ft. Otherwise, it would have taken 2 trips. Although it was a local move it would have been a pain. I can't tell you how awesome it is that things turned out the way they did. God is faithful and he knows exactly what we need even when we don't.

Guy who checked it out has 0 customer service skills. Never even looked at me. I felt like I wasn't welcome. I've returned to that location before and guy was friendly. This guy made me feel as I was a annoyance for disturbing his day. I'm not sure who he is but I hope never to deal with him again

I felt like I worked for UHaul. The Drop Off key box was not easy to find as it was a sticker on a window with a hole cut in the garage door beneath it as opposed to the Large metal orange clearly labeled box that the picture suggested it would/should be. I get trying to stay in business in part by reducing staff and you've at least tried to make the account creation and dropping off the truck process a little easier with technology, but I doubt UHaul as an organization is not profiting well enough to hire more staff, increase parking lot lighting, add adequate signage, label the parking spots, and install the proper key drop off boxes. And it would be nice if the mileage would take Waypoints into consideration. For example, I was on the phone for 25 minutes just so I could verify my drop off location (which was only listed as a City and not a specific destination) and to add 10 miles to the overall mileage because the estimated number of miles did not take the stop at my home into consideration. Meaning, it only considered from one Uhaul location to another + some percentage. That + some percentage is not enough when one does not live in an Urban area.

The person working the desk was clearly displeased this UHaul sent me to her for a truck that she did not have in stock. I took the larger truck for the same price, but used more fuel than I had planned, and I was charged more per mile than the woman at the desk told me. She said .79 and I was charged .89 Please have someone from U-Haul customer service call me at 2172510549

The woman working the front counter is exactly what customer service should be. She went above and beyond what was necessary to make arrangements for my rental. I wish I would have asked her name so I could give her proper accolades. Presently there are not enough companies that realize the importance of good customer service. It is what makes an experience memorable and should always be the primary focus. She took care of so many people as her lunch sat on the counter and got cold. But she did it all with a smile. If you offer a Christmas bonus hers should be the biggest!

Lower the per mileage charge.... It's terrible. Then I guess the person who took the truck back hadn't met her quota on people she'd screwed over that day, and then proceeds to charge me because the truck was dirty! Bullshit! It was pouring rain when I picked it up two days before, and it was dirtier! I will never rent from Uhaul again!

Keep side mirrors clean to better view... i had to wash mine in order to see out of them. The vehicle was clean just not the mirrors. Also, interior dome light didnt work, made it hard to see ignition, buttons, etc. GREAT SERVICE....VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL!!

The staff on Wabash Ave went above and beyond to help me return my equipment. I was originally selected to return the equipment in West Terre Haute at a Country Mart. When I arrived they said “we didn’t do that anymore. You have to go to Wabash Ave.” It was time consuming to drive from one location which it said on my paperwork to drop off to another, but when I explained my situation the staff did everything they could to help me out. If I could rate more stars for the crew on Wabash I would. Thank you!!

I reserved my trailer on line. It was not ready when I went To pic k it up. On their defense, they did have it ready shortly after the paperwork was completed.

The Terre Haute location for pickup was terrible. The 2 employees working didnt seem to have a clue what they were doing, at one point they literally just sat there looking at each other saying well I dont know what to do, they were unorganized and told us the incorrect drop off location. He told us we would be able to drop off in Spencer however there is no uhaul in Spencer so we were late delivering it in Bloomington 25 minutes away. Then when we went to delivery at Bloomington we had to call a number to get someone to the front to help us. Worst service ever!! I will never use uhaul again. If this is your best, you need to work on it!!!
