Comment U-Haul Fonctionnement des avisIf I could rate this place a 0 star I would. I picked up the truck without incident. The place is a bit run down and the woman who checked me in wasn’t the friendliest… but not a big deal. I get the truck and move my residence. I come back that night (after hours) and Uhaul wants you to use their app to checkout after hours. For some reason the app wasn’t working so I called uhaul support and the friendly person at uhaul noted it and I dropped the keys off and went on my way. Then over the next couple of days, I had 3 other line items hit my credit card. When you do the math on it… it all adds up with the charges and refund but I thought it was strange. So I called up this place and talked to a woman, who I guess is the same one who checked me in. I asked her why I was getting charged multiple times. I wasn’t rude, obnoxious or inappropriate. She proceeds to scream at me… she says she didn’t like my comments and threatened that Uhaul is going to keep charging me and said she could charge me the $20 for not returning it using my app and for having to move the truck (I parked it EXACTLY where they told me to)… then she hung up on me. I still didn’t know what was up with the charges… wasn’t sure at that moment what comments she didn’t like so I called back and she said now I am just calling back to pester her which is ridiculous… and she said she “saw” my comments and didn’t like them and said some dopey things and hung up again. So I guess the comments she objected to were the ones the associate at Uhaul must have put into the system on Friday when I called to check out. I asked uhaul about those “comments” when I called to report this incident and the notes they read back to me were just things about the app… so who knows what this unprofessional woman was referring to. Unfortunately for her, she cant deny how it went down as this was documented, I had 3 people in the room with me and she was on speaker phone. Long story short… this place should not be affiliated with Uhaul. Check out the reviews... seems like my encounter with this horrible person isn't unique.
Michael GI tried to drop off the trailer on Saturday but they refused. Had to take it back on Monday at 8 am. After I pulled in the lady at the window was very abrupt and rude. Told me that I had to back out into a very busy road and go down three gates and someone would meet me there. We had to block traffic in two directions to back out and a truck from the U-Haul company had pulled off where I could not make the turn. If I did not have two people with me to block traffic I would have never been able to drop the trailer. No one from your dealer offered to help.
