Salesman told my sister and I that 40 miles per day were free. We rented 6 sets of furniture pads at $5 per set. Upon returning the truck we were charged daily for the pads and no free mileage was given. Sounded like the same deal we would have gotten at Penske but not with the no mileage and daily, not one time charge for the furniture pads!!!

Clerk could not rent equipment. Had to return home and order online. Should be easier to rent equipment that is on site.

The 19.99 per day price is a lie ! I took it less than thirty miles round trip and put the gas back in it and had it for less than 4 hours and it was 80+ dollars! Very very disappointed!

The return of the truck online was a little cumbersome and actually took a while to complete. I couldn't do it with my phone and had to use my husband's in order to do the online return. It was a nice option to have since facility wasn't open.

From start to finish, this was a very bad experience. On Friday, October 4, I called the uhaul national office to book a u box. They assured me that the box would be dropped off that afternoon by 4 PM. To accommodate this timeframe, I arrived to my place of employment late and left early. After contacting my driver at 4, 5, and 7, I found out that the box would not be delivered. U haul did nothing to help me solve their mistakes. The next morning, I then had to figure out the logistics of rescheduling the box pickup for your packing and logistics company. Once I had, I received an email informing me that my box would be delivered to Seattle no later than October 19, and I would be compensated $50 for each day or was late. I thought everything was good to go, but then I received a phone call on Thursday, October 10th that my box had not yet been shipped. For some reason, they had not collected my credit card number and therefore did not so my box for delivery. Considering that I gave this information to the national office, I feel like this was another substantial miscommunication on behalf of uhaul. On Sunday, October 20, I had to call the uhaul office in Everett to find out when my box would be delivered. They assured me they it would arrive between 10 AM and 12 PM. After calling back around 1 PM, they told me that 2-3 was the new window. The driver eventually arrived at about 3:15. This resulted in in nearly an entire wasted day which I would much rather have spent doing any number of other things. As stated before and I will reiterate now, this was an extremely unpleasant experience. I do not intend to use the service again, and have already let friends and family know to do the same. Please let me know how I can be reimbursed for your tardiness and miscommunication. Good day.

My experience with the employee who helped me at pickup and return was exceptional. I very much appreciate how I was treated and by how he addressed my needs. I wish I had remembered his name.

To start with have the size truck reserved on site. Called the day before to make sure truck was in and ready to go. I was told it was confirmed, in which i asked so Does confirm mean truck is on site. Uhaul represententative said yes. 1 hour later uhaul calls me to say my truck os not there and instead of 26ft truck, they would give me a 20ft and a pull behind trailer. Didnt have much choice since i was on a tight schedule. Improvements to uhaul pull behind. The trailer did not have a jack so you have to pick it up manually and its heavy. This means you have to pick it up and disconnect it from truck to load truck. Then again to unload truck. We got to our location late and it was dark. No lights i. Trailer couldnt see anything inside trailer so had to stop Couldnt unload truck because trailler was to heavy to disc without a jack since it was loaded. Then because couldnt work at night uhaul charged me another day after missing time set. Worst move i ever had.

We picked up a truck on Aug. 16 and made a reservation at that time with Justin Upton for a truck on Aug. 25. When we went to pick up the truck on the 25th (I was not there but the person the reservation was under was), he said there was NO RESERVATION and no truck available. My friend called me and I told him Justin better find us a truck because we DID make a reservation. Justin did miraculously then find a truck (20 ft and was going to charge us for that even though we requested a 15 ft). So my friend leaves in the truck. Not more than ten minutes later I get a call from Justin saying "we had a pick up reservation for (my friend)â€¦.." as if we hadn't shown up!! I said UM YES and you said there was no reservation but found him a truck like ten minutes ago!!! HE was like OH YEAH you're right. What a dumbass. Unbelievable. After he freaked us out and had me calling all over Frankfort trying to find a truck. So when we returned the truck later that day we told the other guy working and he had no idea why Justin had a problem that morning. He also confirmed It was in fact a bigger truck than we had the reservation for and deducted the extra cost. Of course Justin was just going to charge us for the bigger truck. Justin might need an update on how to look things up in the computer or something. It can't be THAT HARD.

Truck too high for my 5 ft. Had to really climb to get in Climbing into the truck bed was MUCH easier than I expected. Step and hand-hold were placed perfectly. Rough ride. Felt every bump in the road Impressed with all of the hooks to aid in tying down the load

The whole process felt very disorganized. The location is currently under construction so it is a huge, empty warehouse with maybe 2-3 vehicles. I'm not sure why I was matched with a pickup location that was 25 miles away from my house, but it really made the ordeal much more $$ due to all the extra driving i had to do. The truck that was given to me was not the length of the truck that I reserved over the phone (I was told I was getting an 8ft truck but was given a 7ft. 9 in truck). By the grace of god my couch barely fit. Additionally I was told the truck had a full tank of gas, which was not the case (it was on a quarter tank when i got in). I had to get gas of course to make the drive I was planning and try to estimate how much I was going to use throughout the day. Of course U Haul ended up with a tank much more full than it was when i picked it up. Finally the reservation was never linked to my account for whatever reason, so I was alone in this giant parking lot, on the phone w/ customer service for upwards of 25 minutes while also trying to navigate a website that was glitching at 9pm at night after a day of moving just to check the truck back in (a process that was not explained to me at all when i went to pick up the truck). I have no idea what all I was charged for, as my receipt doesn't make much sense but i can't bring myself to call them back. I never was successfully able to check it back in and there is a charge for "add'l day" so I suppose i just need to eat that cost. I've rented from uhaul before and had an awesome experience--hoping this is just a fluke but $140 plus $50 in gas seems like a lot of money to rent a pickup for one day and drive it less than 250 miles.
