Mobile check-in didn't work. Had to have employee dispatch me, and it took over half an hour. Employee was very helpful, but overall check-in not as convenient as possible.

Facility and staff are great, location hampered by location to bottle depot and mustard seed. Glad we could park our car inside the garage entry.

We reserved a van on-line approximately 1 week in advance, and were sent an email confirming a pick up location in Langford. When we arrived at the pick up location, we were advised there was no van available and that they hadn't had a u-haul van to rent for years. We were given a central booking telephone number to call. The man who helped us was very knowledgeable, calm and helpful. He indicated that we had been sent an email and a text about the change in pick up location. Nope. Regardless, he arranged another van rental for us which was probably difficult as it was November 29/30 time period and demand would be high. We had to drive into Victoria to pick up the van we needed and we just made it there before the 5:00 closing time. The van was clean and ready despite the last minute nature of the reservation for that specific location. The rest of the rental was uneventful and we returned the van 24 hours later.

I recommend this smaller location: staff and service was fast and friendly. They sell moving supplies and equipment rentals, eg dollies and carts. They offer storage units, as well. The location is across the street from a bottle return depot and food bank/ drop-in centre. Be aware of your surroundings and it's OK. Staff were very helpful, provided valuable information.

A much better experience than "Topaz" location (which didn't have the vehicle I reserved when I arrived) I even got a call from them the night before to confirm my reservation. Great experience!
