Truck was fairly dirty in the back, including discarded cigarette butts. Staff could not find associate to check me in when returning truck, had to wait around 40 minutes to pay and leave. Staff we're not friendly; but also not discourteous.

Have the correct pictures associated with the vehicle being rented. I wasted about 10 minutes at the start of my rental simply submitting corrected pictures.

Make sure the customer has everything they rented before they leave . also When you have an opening time don't show up over an hour late with a line of customers waiting on you for the reservation they made previously
Quick, courteous service with excellent equipment which is well maintained. This is the third time I've used this location and will continue to do so.
attendant moped oil out of the unit after it was hooked up to my truck, before I used it. I cleaned it before putting my home goods in it. then i was charged a $15 cleaning fee.

The experience was poor. The pick-up took 20 minutes as I had to wait in line (there was only one counter open). The truck was parked in a very awkward place and it took 10 minutes to get it out of this spot, The inside of the truck did not feel clean. When I returned the vehicle, the return place was not obvious to locate, and then the person at the equipment return did not greet me so it was unclear to whom I should return the keys.
The staff behind the counter. It only made false accusations but they also straight up lied to me when I asked them for the requirements for renting a uhual first he said cash despot or credit card then I proceeded to the bank to pull out the $125 only to return and find out from the same staff memeber that they don't take cash only on a debit so then I had to to return to the bank and this wasted my intire afternoon also they where extremely rude and helped with nothing but more rude and setting my day off in the wrong direction
The app sucked. I couldn't take photos to start the rental. Had to go into the store which took forever. There wasn't a truck available that I had reserved 4 weeks previously had to wait around until one showed up. Then the app failed again when dropping off the vehicle. I couldn't photograph the mileage etc etc. Then for the next 2 days I had staff from the uhaul phone me to ask when I'm dropping off the truck! Two days after I dropped it off!!! Poor organization!
Location is convenient but very cramped so close to town. Nowhere to put the truck when returning, no direction from staff. I managed to flag someone down and he told me just to leave the truck in the middle of the one-way drive aisle. Fine for me, but the drivers behind me were irritated. Mobile pick up option worked well for me. It was my fastest u-haul pick up experience yet
Perhaps consider providing overnight parking for a limited number of customers. There is no place to leave a car nearby and no access to more distant parking options without walking or taking taxi. But overall good service and location

Everything was good .
My only complaint was that the chemicals used to clean the vehicle was a major irritant.
The owner and I believe his wife who was on the counter had such thick accents that it was impossible to understand anything they said. And I have lived all over the world and am used to accents. She also spoke very softly and I had to bend down very close to the plexi Covid shield to hear anything at all. If I had not used U-Haul before and knew the procedures I would not have understood the instructions. Also the Pick-up truck I rented for the day had a broken tail light lens. It has the "X's" on it and when I brought it to the attention of the yard guy he said it was OK with just the "X's". But as soon as I opened the tailgate to load the plastic pieces fell out. When I reported this upon my return I was asked if I had taken a photo of the "before" condition. I was not instructed to do so, so of course I did not. This "Take a photo" was also told to me when I pointed out that the fuel level on the gauge and on the paperwork did not match. This was not the most accurate or professional way to deal with this fuel issue. I requested that the paperwork be edited to reflect the correct fuel level. I was not offered a receipt for my transaction upon return and was told that I would get a receipt via email. So upon return I did not know what the final charge would be. I could have been charged for the previously damaged taillight and would not have known until 2 days later. When the receipt did arrive via email I noticed that the start mileage was listed incorrectly. As I was charged per KM a 10 km discrepancy was a minor but noticeable error. Even though I was charged for the extra 10 KM I felt that I had no recourse because I had not taken a photo. All in all this was one of the less pleasant U-Haul experiences of my life.
They charge me two days instead of 8 hours. I did only 7 miles and I filled 20$ gas and still they charge me for fuel.
The staff was super friendly and trying to help but it was a slightly long wait and then when it was finally my turn (20 minutes after my scheduled pick up time) the truck still hadn't been returned. The staff helped though, offering a larger truck instead. That was better than waiting for the other truck to get returned - plus they would have had to clean for covid. Anyways, this was not ideal because the larger truck was too large to fit where I needed it to go, but I appreciate that they tried to make it work.

The agent billed my credit card prior to the return of the truck. This is not the order in which this should proceed. They also neglected to send me a copy of the final invoice. Poor business practices.
Complaint is that the girls at the desk were so slow. One girl left her desk a few times to go outside and she walked so slow with a swagger and attitude of I don't care and I'll get there when I feel like it. People are moving and have a schedule. Her slowness put my schedule behind. I was not able to complete my move. So other than the questions asked above in the survey, I would not recommend Uhaul. I have always used Uhaul in the past, but now I'm wondering if I will again. I have to complete the move by moving my daughter end of February, I may use another moving co.
Truck leaked, had to ask for someone to show me where the truck was . Waited in line for ages to return truck only to be told I needed to get someone to inspect it first . Went 10 kms less than what I was charged but never got reimbursed. So paid $8.90 extra I guess for their coffee fund , lucky me .

Computer system was down that day. Staff was able to keep most of us functioning by using our phones to sign in and confirm items. I thought this was very resourceful on their part, and they deserve recognition. When I heard the system was down, I expected my whole day, or a large part of it, would've been wasted.
