The rented equipment that I was told would be in the trailer wasn’t there. The attendant let me drive off with the car key in his pocket. The correct hitch wasn’t available so “they made one work” which sort of did. The on line reservation was incorrect at the desk. On a positive note, the staff was super friendly.

Gas gauge was at level I got van today and guy whips out charts and was addiment about lying and charged me extra so 100 deposit plus 18 for gas , mileage was a 1 a mile so 20 plus 69 and 18 is 108 not 120 which I was charged I’ll never be back plus the people I know it’s not the money just the service plus trying to scam me to make more off me in a bad situation

The windshield washer system did not work. It was necessary for me to stop on an Expressway 4 times to wash the windshield by hand using handfuls of snow. When I returned the van the attendant confirmed the windshield washer was not working. He made a point to show me that the washer holding tank was full. Like I should feel better that the tank was full. The fact is the washing system did not work. When I asked if U-haul would compensate me for this serious inconvenience he said no - "but we will charge you for the milage and the daily rate." I don't believe it should be up to the renter to confirm everything is in working order, that responsibility should fall upon the lessor.

The only thing I was disappointed was that now there is an application that has to be used to check in the vehicle after hours., I literally sat in U-Haul parking lot for 25 minutes navigating the sight (getting stuck on the location finder) I finally gave up & just dropped my keys in the box hoping it didn’t make my bill higher cause I was unable to complete.

This is the best UHaul place I’ve ever been to. The people are friendly and helpful and the van I used is super awesome. I have gone to the same location before and I will try to keep going there as much as I can.

I was charged before I dropped it off. I spent 7 hours trying to fix the problem, the store would not answer the phone. What I agreed to is not what was on the contract. ONCE the manager called me back he screamed at me that I need to learn how to read and hung up on me.
