this location is mainly a garage. The truck wasn't ready when I arrived, snow covered windshield and they didn't have the Appliance Dolly I had ordered. This location was substituted for my original location that apparently didn't have a 20' truck that I had reserved.

Truck was snow covered blocked by 2 other vehicles. Had to wait for business owner to show up and plow snow and move other vehicles. Delayed moving by 3 hours. Was changed to this location because originally pick up location did not have the truck I reserved 3 weeks in advance. No cell reception to complete mobile pick up. Just a bad experience.
todd sThis is not Gary’s problem this is a U-Haul problem !! To U-Haul upper management: I received an email today, June 24, 2025, which said my U-Haul that I picked up in NY Was not returned, so today I went to the people in NC that I returned it to. I have a degree in Auto tech, I talked to the people that I returned the trailer to. They told me that two men came to pick up my U-Haul trailer, and said that there were no brakes working on any of the four wheels. All you need to do at this time is please look at all of the information that you have on file . About my trip from NY to NC, This was my worst experience of my life, I tried to work this break problem out with U-Haul repair man. I had to drive all night because of heavy traffic during the day, it was much safer at night in case I had to stop fast, which I was not able to do. I just thank the good lord that my wife and I made it to our destination safely. This experience cost me $751.00. Action on your part: U-Haul, could save lives, so all equipment should have the brake systems checked thoroughly before the customer takes the U-Haul trailer.
