Very happy with the experience from start to finish. Your team was fantastic from on the phone to in person at the store. Friendly, professional and went above and beyond. My only comment was that logging into uhaul.com from my android to complete the return process seemed to get stuck on the step of trying to locate me. I turned the location settings on my phone on and off several times, but it couldn't find me. Thankfully my boyfriend was with me and downloaded the app on his iPhone. But I'm not sure what I would have done otherwise.

i really think that it takes WAY to long to obtain your truck, the amount of yapping they do just wastes time. I rent trucks all the time, they should ask if you've rented before just to save time so they don't have to explain it over and over and over again. The app based rental system isn't any faster because there is still always a lineup you have to wait in - to get your key, but overall its fine.

Pickup truck smelled like an ashtray. There were no cigarettes visible in the cab but it was obvious that someone had smoked quite a lot in it. Had to wash my clothes after. It unfortunate that smoking is allowed in your trucks.

U-Haul failed to include insurance info and pricing when providing a quote over the phone. This effectively doubled my rental rate. In addition I rented a trailer for 10 days rather than the 2 needed as I had to bring the trailer back to original location as there was a $1000 up charge to leave it at my destination. This might have been acceptable if the destination wasn’t a major city and somewhere remote but that was not the case. In my case I was caught and needed the trailer had I had time to further research I would have used something else. As for the trailer condition when I arrived to pick up a trailer I was lucky an additional one had just been turned in, as the one slotted for me was bagged up and tire wear was an issue for Hwy travel. I have used U haul in the past and was disappointed this time with the exception of the clerk at the desk who was apologetic to my concerns.

The only thing I don’t like is the annoying web site. The people at this location are great. I rented a trailer on three different occasions in the last month and every time the experience was good.

The girl that I was dealing with was quite rude to me. I’m not sure what her issue with me was because I could hear her being nice to all the other customers around me but she wasn’t pleasant to me. Which is why I’m rating this location as just average overall.

I booked the truck at 8:30 am. Nobody was there to give me the keys. At 9:00 am the manager John showed up and he moved the two trucks that were in the way of the truck I was assigned, and went inside the store (which was still closed to public, so I couldn’t go in). The manager doesn’t know anything about customer service, and instead made me feel as if it was all my fault. Then, after doors were open I went inside and asked for the keys... just to find out they couldn’t find them. So I had to wait for them to assign me another truck. By the time I left it was 9:30 am. Guess what? No discount! No nothing and I have just waisted one hour of the day I had planned to move out.... I hope this review is useful to other people planning to rent from them, because I had a terrible customer service experience.

Truck filthy. Box full of mud. Had to clean it myself. Waited 15 minutes for someone to check the truck back in. Pathetic.

You need to give your employees better computer software. The amount of layers you make them go through to sign up a client is rediculous. Maybe look at a self serve kiosk when you walk in to speed things up. The yard at this location also seems small or misaligned for the customer traffic, not sure how it can be improved given the footprint but just a comment. Staff were all great, friendly and had a real willingness to help.

Lied about payment method. Told over the phone that for renting a small cargo van a credit card was needed to place the order, but payment can be done by cash, debit, or credit. Get to the store and told credit only is accepted for payment. If that’s the case, then say so! Don’t lie to customers. This is a case of false information/advertising.

Website wouldn’t work, went inside to talk to customer service. Waited in line for 60 minutes, after waiting truck that was assigned to me was missing so had to wait to have another one assigned. John Corbett did a good job remedying the situation but his technology was slowing him down big time! Upgrade to save employees and customers the hassle
