The equipment I had ordered was not available at this site when I called in the morning, and the site my equipment was at was closed on Dec 26. They sorted me out quickly and efficiently and everything went smoothly after that. I am curious if any of your trucks have cruise control, or if that is more of a safety thing. With a 15 hour drive cruise control would have made the drive a little easier. Obviously if some do have this the truck we rented did not.

Interior of the truck was filthy ( coffee , dirt, burns in upholstery) and smelled strongly of cigarettes. We needed to keep the windows down because of the smell. Its winter here which made it uncomfortable

The pickup was fantastic the fillo went above and out of his way to get the truck up and ready to go as the back door was completely Frozen shot when I returned the truck the following day they promptly got me through and process my payment as I had to be somewhere shortly my only concern is since it rained in Winnipeg Manitoba the day before I got the U-Haul all the roads are completely icy and the tires were spinning I was charged for twice the amount of miles I actually drove due to the icy roads and the tires having no tread or traction

When I returned the truck it asked that you wait in the truck until someone comes to check it out well I waited 15 minutes then I went inside to let them know the truck was back

State a price estimate that is closer to what i'm paying. I was estimated at 26$ 'IF I PUT 10$ OF GAS IN IT' and only drive 10kms. Ok well I put 13$ and only drive 10kms and my bill came out to 46$. I drove this vehicle for a total of 20 mins at 50k/hr around the city. When i picked it up, it had slightly less than 1/8th of a tank. I put in 13$ then drove it back at a sliver away from 1/4 of a tank. The guy rounded down to 1/8th of a tank and still we walked out of there with a 46$ bill AND THAT DOESN'T INCLUDE THE 13$ THE GUY ASKED US TO PUT IN THE TRUCK TO GET A "REBATE". GRAND TOTAL: 59$, BUT ESTIMATED 26$. WTF??/? is this a scam??? never going back here

New rental system is a pain in the ass. Basically I had to do all the work the staff used to do. While I'm sure that will save you money it is a poor customer service experience for those that want counter service. App as an add-on option, ok, but not replacing counter service.

billing i was 20 dollars over charged and an additional 67 dollars was tacked onto the credit card we specifically asked to not be used. yet it was now we wait to be reimbursed ...we were told the 67 was coming back but the 19. and change is still an issue

I rented the van from a really nice girl, and during the rental, there was an awful employee being extremely rude to myself and another customer. When I returned the van I spoke again to the really nice lady and asked the name of the foul mouthed employee from the previous day. She and another employee advised that the awful employee is John B. and he is the manager. I suggest more training for him. I feel that as U-Haul doesn't have much competition, the customer service is a last priority.

I returned the rented vehicle with an attendant almost a week ago (the evening of Nov. 16) and I did not receive my emailed receipt like he promised I would get. My credit card was charged but I did not receive a statement so I do not know the details of the charge and why my charge is higher than my quote given to me.

When picked up we were told had half a tank of gas. Showed the manager at the Edmonton location and was adjusted to a quarter tank of gas. Returned with a quarter tank of gas and now uhaul says I owe for gas. From start to finish bad experience and constantly having to call to question

My problem isn't with the location, it's with U-Haul. Stop paying your reservation bookers by commission so that they don't overbook the locations. What's the point of reserving a vehicle if it's so over booked that it's first come first serve? Luckily they had a van to lend me in place of the 10' truck I “reserved” or I would have been royally screwed (instead of just a little bit screwed). You better believe I'll be telling everyone I know about this and on top of never using U-Haul again. Such a terrible system. I now know U-Haul is a company that doesn't care about it's customers or its employees.

I booked the truck early in the week but when I arrived for pickup, the representative tried to "upsell" me for a larger truck by telling me that there wasn't a truck available. In fact, there were 6 10" cube trucks in the lot. Only after I pushed back and refused the larger unit was one "found" for me. the second issue was the "optional liability" insurance which WASN'T optional at all - I already had purchased separate coverage through autopac but was told that "as the truck was licensed in the US, that autopac coverage wasn't valid". I was than charged $17/day for this coverage. Total rip off. Returning the truck 2 days later (earl), I waited for 15 minutes in an empty store. I couldn't believe that there was no workers and the place was WIDE open with keys for trucks sitting out, boxes and stock but no staff. The employee finally returned by driving up in a vehicle. Did she leave the place open to get lunch or a coffee? Other customers were waiting as well. Must be nice to be the only option so that we have to put up with this kind of crappy service, poor business practices and dodgy workers you seem to employ. Train your staff!. Stop ripping off customers!
