I was disappointed to have a $14 safe charge applied to my rental. I had rejected the option in my reservation, so was not looking for that charge when I picked up the rental as reserved. Unfortunately only when I went to check out after using the truck did I realize it had been added at the time of pick up.

Originally booked this truck to be picked up In Sewell,NJ which is where I live but after I booked the truck the online check-in told me I had to pick the truck up in wynewood,NJ about 12 miles from my house. That was only the start of this horrible experience once I got to the (xpressmart) and received my truck there was clear damage on the driver side of the truck once I got in the truck it smelled like cigarettes and looked like it hasn't been cleaned in god knows how long. There was actually still ash in the ashtray in the middle of The truck and sticky liquid on seats and floors. After I was done hauling my things to my new house I go to return the truck in the morning I get there not only upset that I have to pay $30 in over mileage fees since the pickup spot was changed after I booked But the same gentlemen that went over the truck With me 24 hours prior accused me of damaging the truck pointing out the same clear damage we Both seen 24 hours ago. He then told meâ€ I won't get charged for it â€œ I then get an email w an attachment showing an accident report from 9:00 am that morning. It was insurance fraud to the max and hopefully this doesn't continue. The gentleman at the xpressmart in woodlynne,NJ should have legal action takin against Him for what he did to me and probably will continue to do to Other customers.
Wrong amount of gas was in vehicle, manager said nothing he can do to change it. Did not show me anything about the truck and made me sign papers before checking out truck
My contract showed the gas at 3/4 full, but the dashboard showed clearly less than 3/4 full, which the U-Haul representative acknowledged but was unwilling to adjust. Very disappointing. Therefore I lost money on the gas, since I had to return it at the 3/4 level.
It all was excellent... I couldn't ask for anything to be different. I was able to pick up a clean truck and the customer service was great

They don't have a big enough lot for this many trucks. I was stuck in the middle of the street while they played Tetris with the trucks and then asked me to back it in which I can't do. While I was getting honked at. It was frustrating all around.
This Experience Was One Of The Worse Customer Service And Equipment Experiences Ever!!! From The Credit Card Software Not Working To The Owners Poor Attitude Asking For Cash Instead Of My Credit Card. This Whole Thing Was Totally Beyond Me. I'm Never Using UHaul Again.

Allow pick up to trucks that aren't blocked and give trucks that aren't filthy. U-Haul has fraudulent practices where they give you a filthy truck and then charge you for someone else's mess.
they have a U-Haul at a Indian fast market wtf is that? They barely know English or how to properly explain things so from 19.97 it goes To 60$ I had the truck for about 1 hr and drove it about 9 miles. The entire shit is fucked up I recommend no one to go there go to a OFFICAL PLACE

The steering on the truck was out of line. We have rented Uhaul trucks a number of times, this one didn't drive or ride well at all. THE UHAUL WEBSITE WAS DOWN (NOT THE FAULT OF THIS LOCATION) which created a stressful start to our day and more hours for people that were moving than we planned.

The customer service was horrible. The staff is rude, mocking, and serve as a bigger inconvenience than ever. Moving is stressful, but the harassment I've felt both times at that location made my anxiety worse. Not only was the wait time ridiculous, but I wasn't assisted with anything, so image if I didn't know what I was doing when it came to the truck, or the set up. I was then harassed due to being 2 cm away from half. I had to tell the gentleman not to put his hands on me after him touching my back, shoulder and arm. My overall experience was ridiculous and I honestly expect uhaul to handle their partnership with this location. Since I was told they only pick up and drop off, so the store don't do anything. I have to make 2 more trips in a month, and may have to look elsewhere for my truck rentals.
When I went to book my reservation through the 800 number at U-Haul I wound up getting bounced around about six times as to where I could pick up my box truck wound up driving to two different locations and was told I needed to go to another location to pick up the actual vehicle. This was a poor experience for my rental and when I called the 800-number to see if there is any type of compensation to be made they said no since I had already signed the contract and pick the vehicle up. I have never experienced such a dis-organized business especially one of the size when trying to deal with a simple rental. I am hoping this is just a one off and not a common occurrence. I wound up returning the rental two days early with a quarter tank more of gas than it was run it with I am hoping that u haul will be able to find some type of compensation for all of the confusion and issues I ran into.
Focus on the customer trying to rent your U-Haul until the transaction is completed and not stopping to take care of customers wanting to but lottery tickets and groceries...
