Was asked to pay an additional fee for fuel, even though correct amount had been put into tank. Was also asked to pay additional $25 for "truck cleaning". I felt as though I was being scammed politely declined to pay (only to be told that it was ok after all).

This experience was horrible they didn’t have the trailer I reserved a month earlier they gave me one that was to short so I bought it back the next morning and they still charged me 40.00 didn’t even use it I went to enterprise and rented a van and it was cheaper than the trailer

I went there and reserved the truck for Saturday morning I went Friday evening to verify that it was still going to be there for Saturday morning he told me he had no truck for me so he lied he cheated me and I really needed this truck for Saturday morning so it put me in a dilemma I had one hour to get a truck and that was it 4 by 8 at night for 9 in the morning when it was imperative that I be there at that pickup point where I was picking stuff up for 9 so I would have been totally screwed because this was all through lawyers for the time of pickup so very poor business he lied to me that he had a truck and then in the end he said he didn't have a truck so very very poor very sad and he shouldn't be representing and working for U haul representing you all when I said you don't have a truck really went that's too bad I don't have won the Cadillac converters broken

Nithing wrong with location. Not happy with Uhaul policy and clear communication with customer. No solution to emergencies situtions.. Had booked truck for couple hour thinking of uhaul give upto 24 hr. Now needed truck more than couple hr less than 24 hr. Wanted to do reservation will end paying double ti uhaul. Totally unsatifisstied

Parking lot was covered in ice which was covered in snow and undetectable. Windshield wipers were falling apart. The vehicle was not warmed up so the back lock was frozen and the back sliding door was frozen to the deck.

No debit at location. Wasted 20 minutes to get cash. Then when returned truck lady did not know how to run computer. Had to wait 15 minutes. Truck transmission was suspect. As it was slipping and truck hardly hit 80km he.

Westmount would not rent me the UHaul when I stopped in 3 days before pickup to confirm . There reason was because I was going out of town and not returning the truck to westmount location. I went to JP variety to pick up truck on Jan 1 after confirming pick time and location. At first he did not have a truck, then found it on his lot, then computer system would not work. After an hour of dealing with JP variety , I left and went back to Westmont and picked up a truck.

The building we rented this UHaul from was extremely dirty. When we arrived the gentleman did not explain anything and told me to sign two sheets handed me keys and told me “your trucks at the bottom of the hill”. So I had to find the truck myself and do a walk around to find prior damage which UHaul wasn’t aware of (and I did). The truck was dirty. As I’m driving it interior lights were flashing. I informed the gentlemen when I returned it and he said “oh that’s normal”. Terrible location.

Was forced to purchase the insurance after I had already confirmed twice I didn't want it, and continuing the trend of moves with uhaul I still didn't get the truck size I requested. Not only did I pay for something I didn't want, I ended up spending more in fuel for a bigger truck I didn't ask for. Will not be using uhaul in the future.

There were considerable issues atbdrip off. While I was angry at the attendant in reality the issue is with communication in your software programs, the “rules”. We rented a truck with gas at close To empty. When returning I was to have 7/16 of a tank. In order to get there we had to go to gas station twice. You need to ensure your vehicles are full when rented then can be returned the same. This required a trip to put in $3 of gas. Really? Who can’t just say thanks and be done with it. Then we had to fold the blankets we had rented. This was new for me, like making the bed in a hotel. My anger was at an all time high. I will be calling U-Haul for sure. I then was charged for extra mileage. The contract was for something different than on the computer. As well our originating place had added extra. This was not showing. I will be contacting U-Haul directly and expect a satisfactory resolution.

The staff did not even come outside to inspect the uhaul prior to us leaving. We had to drive 5.5 hours with a tire that did not hold air. We stopped the fill the tire and it still leaked. The uhaul was filthy when we picked it up and was parked on a hill unsafely.

I am concerned that at pickup I was required to provide the same information that I provided for the on-line reservation process i.e. credit card number, pass code and driver's license number. While it may be a coincidence, within 5 hours of my returning the vehicle, I received two telephone calls from individuals claiming to be from Microsoft, who were obviously on a phishing expedition to collect personal information.

Original drop off location did not expect us or know how to check us in. Got sent to another location to drop off. Very confusing
