when hooking the pin of the dolly through the truck' ball we showed your tech how to push the pin all of the way through and then bolt it down. I mention this because the last time we rented one the tech did not do this and we have a dent in the back of the truck. Granted this was at a different u-haul in the area. It is also why we did not go back there. (it was a few years ago as well but the dent doesn't know that :) .

Horrible location. I called the day before to see if I can drop off the truck any later without being charged and the lady said I could drop off anytime even if they are closed!! I dropped off at 2 and they charged me a whole day!! On top of that their employees dont know how to count because they charged me for missing covers and I didnt even use any covers!!! I wont be using uhaul again!!

The person working the counter did not make me aware of the fact that only one four wheel furniture dolley was available until after I had signed for and paid for everything, even worse, I was charged for two dolleys yet only received one.

Other than the fact that on the corporate level my reservation was made incorrectly, this location accommodated me very well with my need for a U-haul 15 ft truck.

I reserved a 20' trk and car carrier. As no 20' trk was available, I was upgraded to a 26' trk. The car carrier wasn't available at the time I picked up the trk, but was told by Bill, he would check on rentor who had the carrier and get back to me. I was given the keys to the trk with absolutely no instructions, or info regarding the vehicle. The reservation was for 10am and I had to call several times during the day to check if the trailer was returned and available. As the hours passed and I felt this trailer wasn't going to be available, Bill advised he would check with uhaul to see if another was available in the area. By 3:45pm I had to call again only to find out Bill never tried to find another trailer and the trailer I was supposed to get still wasn't available. I called uhaul myself and explained the situation. The woman on the phone immediately found two locations with trailers available, but now it was after 4pm and I needed to get to one of these locations before they closed for the day. Unnecessary stress caused by Bill. I finally got the trailer home and now had the task of loading my vehicle on it at the end of a long day in the dark as I needed to begin my trip in the early morning hours. The trk and trailer were fine and worked as planned. The service or lack of service from Bird's was unacceptable.

I made my reservation online and salected the closest site to my home. Later in the day I had someone call me to say my reservation had been moved to her location which was 45min from my home . I told her that wouldnâ€™t work for me and why was my reservation moved she said the site I choose didnâ€™t have what I needed. The morning I was due to pick up the truck I stopped at the site I preferred and found out they did have the truck. Long story short I changed my reservation back to the one closer to me with no problem. My suggestion would be that if a customer selects a location they should be called in advance to ask would it be ok to change the site .

The place I dropped off the Uhaul truck charged me $200 extra for being a day late and going well over 240 miles extra when I was covered like 269 miles and thatâ€™s not even possible when it was one way trip and then a couple runs to storage shed and back to my house.

The man checking us out had a bad attitude. He didn't seem to have a problem with us personally, he was just clearly unhappy with everything which deflated my high spirits about moving.

The location for pickup was great and amazingly helpful a drop off. But the u haul 24/7 online system was a nightmare! I set up through the online system a reservation. When it asked for the drivers license name and DL number of the person driving the truck I put my husbands. This caused a huge problem when trying to pick up our truck. I was on and off the phone for over an hour having my reservation canceled and reissued for a location 20 miles away and 45 miles from where I was going. I went round and round for an hour and was late for what I was picking up. And then when trying to return the truck I couldn't I had another problem with the u haul system. Luckily after trying for over 15 mins to check in someone happened to be at the town location I was dropping off at and handled the return in his shop. The whole experience was a nightmare! I will never use this system again and will definitely be letting everyone I know not to use the 24/7 serves.

This was the worse experience. The day before picking up the truck, I was told the location I requested the truck at was unavailable and I had to drive 30 minutes south to the new location. This was a complete inconvenience but it was manageable. The day of pick up I get to the location and they did not have a truck. The nearest pickup location was another 30 minutes away. I had to drive an hour just to get the truck. Uhaul charged me for missing pads which were left in the truck and for mileage AFTER agreeing that I would not be responsible for filling the gas tank up after all of the inconveniences.

I want someone from uhaul to contact me. I had an absolutely terrible experience. I had a reservation to pick up a truck at this location 9/1 at 3PM. I arrived at 2:30. 3PM came and went-NO TRUCK. I was told that the person who rented the truck before me was 2 DAYS late returning it with no end in sight. I was told there was another truck available 7 miles away. This was a huge problem as there was NO WAY to get to this location without a car -WHY WOULD I HAVE A CAR WHEN I PLANNED ON DRIVING THE TRUCK??? This is where it gets ridiculous. I called uhaul numerous times and explained the situation. I was told to pay for a taxi or an uber to get to the truck and they would refund it from the rental. Only we are in the MIDDLE of NOWHERE and there are no taxi services. I tried for an uber. Nothing. It is now 90 minuted since my truck should have been ready. I am stranded over an hour away from home with no car and NO truck. I called uhaul numerous times, only to get told they could not help me. I begged for someone to come pick me up or bring a truck to me. I got no help, since it wasn't policy. Panic is setting in..i have no truck and NO way to get to one. Complete indifference on the part of uhaul. I finally made one more panicked phone call begging for help...and guess what? THEY HAD ANOTHER TRUCK AVAILABLE THE WHOLE TIME. That's right -after sitting there making phone call after phone call begging for help and trying in vain to find a ride, a truck was there and READY the ENTIRE time. They knew it was there and I was stranded, but it was a bigger truck so they held it back. Absolutely horrible way to treat a customer. After all this they gave me $50 reservation guarantee refund. Come on uhaul. I am a repeat customer. You can do better than that.
