This was a great experience from start to finish. In California, Jack was patient, professional and kind, and a good communicator. In Pearl, Mississippi, the ladies I dealt with - drivers and on the phone - were courteous and helpful. Moving is never an adventure (sorry!) but this one was as easy as could be.

I wanted to pick empty my ubox on Saturday, load it, and then drop it off the following day on Sunday. The U-Haul rep suggested the Folsom since it was closest to my home and was open 7 days a week. When I picked the ubox on Saturday everything was great until I asked about the drop off on Sunday. He said he is closed on Sunday and Monday. He said I could drop it off on Sunday but it was a parking lot with no gate or security. I needed the ubox and figured I could drop it somewhere else. That took about 45 minutes on the phone with various people and the common response was “no, you have to bring it back to Folsom on Tuesday”. That would not work since I was leaving on Monday. Finally, it got raised to a supervisor level, and they allowed me to drop it off in Roseville. I should not have had to deal with this issue since it was the U-Haul agent who recommended Folsom in the first place. As a separate note, Sara ,at the Roseville location, was outstanding! She was helpful, positive, and efficient.

Rachel WTom was verbally aggressive and abusive to me. He obviously was in a rush to leave and was incredibly mean on the last drop off. I felt unsafe as a women and being at his place alone. Before I left the premises I called UHaul and put in a complaint. Michael was very helpful in putting together a case. This is unacceptable behavior from a Uhaul representative. I was shaking, and have been off and on crying since it happened. I didn’t deserve to be the wrath of his bad day. I am disappointed that this experience was so stressful being that shipping my belongings across the country is already stressful enough. I have proof that I was kind and considerate all the way through this process working with Tom. I, on more than one occasion worked around his schedule, even though he was supposed to be open and then abruptly changed his schedule so I had to change mine to fit his. This has left a lasting first impression using Uhaul.

LISA SThere were a couple of issues with getting the boxes delivered. It appears the facility is relatively small and there were issues with returning equipment that caused delays a couple days.
